Since 1971, London Youth Opera (operating under our previous name, W11 Opera) has introduced young people from all backgrounds and abilities to the transformative power of opera. We are the only opera company staging original commissions written exclusively for and performed exclusively by children in highly acclaimed professional productions.

To provide education and entertainment for members of the general public by giving a wide range of affordable, concessionary theatrical performances and concerts of music, drama and dance in the Nottingham area. To improve on performing or back stage skills for both amateur and professional members. Where possible to provide funds, time and performances to help charities.

AMATEUR THEATRE COMPANY

To advance the education of the public in theatrical arts (music, drama and dance) by the provision of quality amateur theatre productions in Bath.

We're an amateur musical theatre company (consisting of members from 11 years & over) that produce shows & concerts in Colchester for the general public. Membership is open to all aged 16yrs plus & 11-24 yrs for our youth section, providing opportunities to learn, perform & participate in local Theatre. We also put on singing, acting & dancing workshops for members & the local community.

The charity aim's to promote, organise and produce musical dramatic and associated works for the purpose of fostering and developing physical and mental recreation in the world of Theatre and the arts, and the raising of funds for the company's and charitable purposes.

The principal activities and objects of the charity company are the production of Gilbert and Sullivan and other Operas for nationwide tours and the raising of funds to support these. The charity has a music hire dept. hiring musical scores to amateur societies and education institutes. In addition the charity sells merchandise.

The society's object is to provide the means by which people may learn to perform music, act and dance and to entertain. The society supports other charities by performing concerts in and around the Redruth area but has also travelled to Scotland and Lancashire to support local charities there. It provides access for the public of all ages to learn and enjoy the dramatic arts.

TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN THE DRAMATIC AND OPERATIC ARTS TO FURTHER THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUBLIC APPRECIATION AND TASTE IN THE SAID ARTS, TO ASSIST AND FURTHER SUCH CHARITABLE INSTITUTIONS AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.

Sefton O.P.E.R.A is a voluntary organisation working with older people in the community many experiencing dementia and Alzheimers often experiencing isolation our aim is to enable older people to have choices in relation to their own health. Our outstanding contribution to social welfare and using grass roots to formulate their objectives within the community
