Arts Charities That specialise in Opera

We are a musical theatre group of amateur performers who typically put on one major production per year in Cambridge, at the Cambridge Arts' Theatre. We hold open auditions for all performing roles and welcome members interested in all aspects of being in or putting on a show.

The company exists to educate the public in the operatic and dramatic arts, to further the development of public appreciation and taste in the said arts, and to support local charities.

The Charity aims to advance the study of and conduct research into any art or science for the public benefit; to receive, educate and train students and members of the general public in drama, opera, music and other arts, to promote, maintain, improve and advance the cultural experience and education of the public at large and the public appreciation of the arts.

The charity advances education for the public benefit by performing opera and other music at a high standard, concentrating on rare 18th-century repertory sung in English. Supporting the early development of outstanding young professional performers, the charity aims at an accessible and relaxed ethos with affordable ticket prices. Mount productions of high quality opera

We deliver concerts (orchestral, choral, ensemble, chamber choir), recitals (wind, string & piano quintets, quartets and trios, vocal solo and duets), and opera performances and community projects, as well as free workshops and masterclasses for school children, a free children's choir and concerts and free open-air family concerts and pop-up public concerts in Hastings and the surrounding towns.

The Orion Orchestra is a London-based symphony orchestra for exceptionally talented young musicians soon to leave music college.
