The charity promotes orchestral concerts and piano recitals.

The Charles Halle Foundation raises funds to assist the Halle Concerts Society in its non-core activities and in particular to finance foreign tours by the Halle Orchestra, to create opportunities to encourage young British astists and composers, to provide special concerts for young people and to support the Halle's education and outreach programme.

The club's principle activity is the promotion of a series of 12 concerts of classical music put on from October to March annually. These usually consist of solo musicians or small groups of up to 6 or so players. Most seasons include concerts given by a small orchestra of up to 18 players. The Club has regular concerts promoting Young Musicians from the area.

The preparation, study and performance of choral music for the public. To study and prepare existing compositions and to commission new works. To support the development and engagement of young people in the arts and in particular choral singing. Shottery Memorial Hall provides facilities for use by local organisations including school & youth groups, mental health charities, orchestra, dance etc. Shottery Youth Theatre performs an annual panto and there are frequent special events, including an annual summer fete.Facilities include 2 halls, bar/lounge, kitchens and art studio.The Hall Committee meets monthly.

Musical education and orchestral training

Since its foundation in 1957, the Rehearsal Orchestra has promoted an annual residential orchestral course during the Edinburgh Festival, and arranged weekend courses in London and other parts of the UK aimed at providing an orchestral training resource for talented players and soloists of all ages and from all parts of the UK and abroad.

Music teaching on most instruments for all ages (4 to 104!) and abilities, mostly individually but also in small groups. We also run bands, an orchestra, smaller instrumental groups, choirs and workshops for young children which are free to all members.

Promotion of amateur music in South Yorkshire

To promote the musical education of and the enjoyment and performance of orchestral and instrumental music by children, young persons and their families in the county of Cambridgeshire

The Orchestra made up of police officers, police staff and other members of the extended police family each year performs at different venues around the country raising money for a number of different charities. A mini tour of India took place in February 2008. Charity Concerts included Warwick Arts Centre for Fighting Blindness and the annual Proms Concert at Symphony Hall in December.

Classical music Orchestra, mainly amateur, providing concerts for the public and experience for enthusiastic players of any age. Engaging with local schools and children's musical organisations so as to bring music both to a wider audience and to children in particular.

The New London Orchestra offers music projects including concerts, recordings, and music-related education and outreach projects in schools and in the wider community. All projects aim to have an education element, whether through choice of repertoire, or through bringing the experience of live music to places it might not otherwise reach.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of choral and orchestral music in all aspects by the presentation of public choral and orchestral concerts and for the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such other purposes as shall be exclusively charitable as the trustees may from time to time decide.
