Choral Society

WE PLAY CONCERTS ALL OVER THE COUNTRY WE ALSO SUPPORT A CONCERT BAND WITH ABOUT 30 PLAYERS .SENIOR AND JUNIOR BANDS BOTH PLAYED AT THE NATIONAL BRASS BAND FINALS IN 2010.IN 2010 BOTH BANDS MOVED TO A PURPOSE BUILT BANDROOM BACK IN PELTON FELL WHERE THE BAND WAS CREATED IN 1877.

We are a Male Voice Choir who learn music and song to enable us to sing in concerts to help raise monies for other charities. We have enjoyed singing in Italy, Spain, Austria, France, Germany and Belgium together with venues like Symphony Hall in Birmingham, St George's Chapel in Windsor and the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The production and performance of drama, both spoken and musical, for the entertainment and enlightenment of the local populace

A village hall, providing services to the local community which includes; sports, health & fitness, dance, music, hobbies & childrens groups. Facilities are also used by the disabled & we provide meeting rooms for local groups, associations & charities. It is also used for a wide range of social activities.

Worship/ Bible teaching services are held on Sunday. Young peoples meetings, a lace making group, a community cafe, a women's group, and a men's group, These meetings are open to the general public and usually take place on the Church premises. The Church also provides premises for a brass band to practice, for East Northants Child Contact Services and for the local branch of Cocaine Anonymous.

Provision of symphony orchestra rehearsals and concerts for amateurs who predominantly are employed in the insurance and financial services industry, led by professional conductor and leader.

Playing for Cake delivers fun, interactive and participatory community-based singing, music-making and other creative opportunities for all ages and abilities in accessible locations in Norfolk.

THE ACADEMY TEACHES YOUNG PEOPLE HOW TO PLAY STRING, WOODWIND, BRASS AND PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS AS WELL AS KEYBOARD AND GUITAR. PROPERLY QUALIFIED , DBS-CHECKED MUSIC TUTORS ARE EMPLOYED. MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO ANYONE. THE ACADEMY TEACHES FROM ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS UPWARDS. MEMBERS OF THE ACADEMY ALSO GIVE PUBLIC PERFORMANCES.

Swansea City Opera's principal activity is to tour affordable quality opera to under-resourced areas in Wales and the UK. This is supported by outreach and education activity to use opera as a tool to promote economic activity and prevent social exclusion among disadvantaged communities. In recent years the companies' activities have extended to musical heritage of disadvantaged groups.

KSO is an amateur orchestra aiming to promote and develop public education in and appreciation of classical music though its public concerts. KSO prides itself in its commitment to new works and revival of neglected works. It also encourages young musical talent by providing students and amateurs with an opportunity to perform concerts at the highest possible level.

The choir, which is based at St Leonard's Church, Tooting Bec Gardens, Streatham, London SW16, performs three/four public concerts a year to promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of music.

Support for the maintenance of religious services and music in the Old Royal Naval College Chapel of St Peter & St Paul, Greenwich, London, SE10 9NN. Regular donations to local and international charities.

We create site-specific and promenade theatre & opera to inspire audiences to see the art forms and the world around them in new ways. We partner with local schools to offer complimentary workshops to teach young people about theatre and opera; with community organisations to run sessions with elderly groups, and provide opportunities for local people to be involved as volunteers.

The trustees principally grant bursaries to final year drama students who are suffering financial hardship and who are nominated by their respective drama schools.Please note that we do not accept private applications for funding.

The object of the trust is to advance the education of pupils by making grants available to the school towards the improvement of teaching and learning. This last year grants have been awarded to support the Bennett Music Academy and the DoE Award Scheme. A ?500K grant has also been set aside for a new 6th Form Centre due to be ready in Jan 2014.

We are an amateur musical theatre society established in 1944 to present public performances of annual pantomimes, musicals, and other productions and associated activities, involving weekly rehearsals for adults and workshops for junior members. We have been based in Broxbourne on the Herts/Essex border since 1977.

The Trustees are responsible for the administration of non-public funds to provide benefit for all cadets in the Wing. Activities supported include Corps Sports (athletics, soccer, swimming, cross-country, rugby, netball and hockey), Leadership Courses, Nijmegen Marches, BTEC, Corps Music, Adventurous Training, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Competition Shooting (including Bisley) and Cadet Camps.
