To educate and entertain members of the general public in the Reading and surrounding area through the rehearsal and presentation of two musical productions a year (spring and autumn) at theatres in or near Reading.Each production usually runs for five performances with a total potential audience of just over 2000 for the week.

We provide encouragement and financial support to those actively contributing (or who have in their careers actively contributed) to art and music. We provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships and grants to organisations in fields that fulfil specific criteria. We preserve, catalogue, promote, develop and publish for the public benefit the work of Hans Keller and Milein Cosman.

Shakespeare Link provides developmental workshops and performance at its home base, the flagship Willow Globe theatre, within the local community, and beyond.

The Charity operates open-access choirs and music education opportunities for children and young people from across Warwickshire and nearby regions. The charity supports weekly rehearsals both in and out of school, a schools programme and an annual programme of concerts, workshops, competitions and CPD for teachers.

The Orchestra made up of police officers, police staff and other members of the extended police family each year performs at different venues around the country raising money for a number of different charities. A mini tour of India took place in February 2008. Charity Concerts included Warwick Arts Centre for Fighting Blindness and the annual Proms Concert at Symphony Hall in December.

To advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art of the brass band movement, especially at universities. This is done primarily by organising the annual UniBrass Championships, offering support to existing university ensembles, and encouraging the creation of new university bands.

To advance the education of the public in the art science of music and in particular the art and science of flute playing in all its aspects by such ways as the Charity through the charity's trustees shall determine from time to time.

We provide regular music-making activities for asylum-seekers and refugees. These include rehearsals, creative workshops, group instrumental lessons and concerts. Through the music, we explore identity and connection in a safe space, building a community that is about learning together and enjoying cultural diversity.

The Centre is used for community sporting and social events including karate; table tennis; meetings of different content; dancing; parties, etc. The area is classified as rural.

HMT has continued to organise a series of regular classical music concerts in and around Hay-on-Wye. Events have been often accompanied by a related talk, film or exhibition. In addition, HMT ran its annual chamber music festival, based on the Fitzwilliam String Quartet, which featured three concerts with the Quartet and other professional musicians, together with a community outreach events.

The La Di Da Society runs daytime social and entertainment clubs for people over the age of 60 years old with the aim of reducing social isolation and loneliness, improving well being and helping people to feel part of their local community. We also run events out in the community as well as dance classes suitable for all.
