The working name of the charity is MY RADIO, whose aim is to relieve sickness, infirmity and old age amongst persons living in Wakefield and the surrounding areas by providing a local broadcasting service for hospitals and similar institutions.

Our main projects have been providing support and guidance to othher local organisations e.g. Radio Ikhlas and Ikhlas Education centre in particularly in areas of educational advice. Support is also provided to other local community projects.

Activities include developing community radio projects around Greater Manchester which provide training and volunteering opportunities for local people and providing resources to support the UK community radio sector.

Hospital Radio station for the patients of St Bartholomews Hospital, and all others of the Barts Health Trust

The Peterborough Youth Community Media Centre (PYCMC) delivers a Youth Community radio project. The tool is used for output of social benefits, whereby the project will train young people in community radio and functional skills. Giving beneficiaries the opportunity to learn about media specific skills as well as other transferable skills such ITC, confidence building and self esteem.

Hospital broadcasting service for Hull & East Yorkshire

AHBS provides a service of entertainment and information to patients in the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford, Kent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Provides radio broadcast services exclusively to patients in the Hillingdon Hospital.

Hospital Radio Crawley is a local charity run entirely by unpaid volunteers to provide a Radio entertainment system throughout the local Hospital. This facility is seen to be part of the healing process for patients. We provide a diverse variety of live programmes including request shows. STATION CLOSED 8TH SEPTEMBER 2019.
