The company plays a monitoring role within a group of charities spread around the world, all operating under the Radio Lollipop banner. Countries represented are England, Wales, Australia, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa and the USA. The charities have the common objective of providing care, comfort and entertainment to children in hospital through broadcasting and play activities.

Poole Sea Cadets provides training for young people aged 12 to 18 based on Naval Traditions and Discipline.Our activities include sailing to RYA standards, Pulling (rowing) Adventure Training, PT, Shooting and Swimming. CURRENT ACTIVITIES CONSIST OF PUBLIC PERFORMANCES OF CONCERTS IN COVENTRY CATHEDRAL AND OTHER CHURCHES IN SOUTH WARWICKSHIRE JOINED BY THE LOCAL YOUTH ORCHESTRA AND SCHOOL CHOIRS. THE CHOIR HAS BEEN ALSO INVITED TO TAKE PART IN EVENTS PROMOTED BY OTHER ORGANISATIONS, AS WELL AS PARTICIPATING IN SEVERAL BBC "SONGS OF PRAISE" TELEVISION AND OTHER RADIO RECORDINGS.

The charity, also known as RAYNET, is the national organisation coordinating and supporting local groups across the UK who assist user services and other organisations involved in rescue services in protecting human life and property in the event of a local or national emergency by supplementing existing communications or providing alternative forms of communications.

Programmes include requests, items of local interest, Health & Wellbeing items, outside broadcasts and commentaries on Warrington Wolves and Widnes Vikings home games. Radio General Xtra is an alternative music based service for the hospital's waiting areas.

Hospital Radio Broadcasting

The purpose of the Society is the creation and broadcast of radio programmes for the benefit and entertainment of the Trust's patients, their families and friends, staff and volunteers together with the wider community supported by the Trust.

Radio Marsden is a hospital radio station, broadcasting to both the Royal Marsden Hospitals.
