New Earth Theatre presents and develops work with British East and South East Asian (BESEA) artists that asks key questions of identity, of the world we live in and our place in that world. They produce touring plays and readings across the year, as well as nurture BESEA talent through their Academy acting and writing courses and Professional Writers Programme.

The main objective of the company is to promote and assist education and the Arts for public benefit by research, discussions and seminars, vocational training, the provision of development facilities related to the Arts in general and especially the theatre and with the production of educational plays; and the provision of professional development and training for Actors via a trading subsidiary.

Provision of preschool education for the village of Holbrook and surrounding area.Fundraising to supplement fees paid by parents and grants from Local Authority. Present public productions of plays, musicals etc. - normally 12 shows a season, plus music and comedy nights throughout the year Train people in all aspects of theatre. Run 5 youth groups who learn stagecraft & public performance & we work closely with local schools and colleges to whom we offer workshops & low-cost tickets. Maintain & develop a Grade II listed building.

We offer spaces for conferences, functions and charity events as well as providing adult art classes.The Huddersfield School of Theatre Dance and Northlight physiotherapy gym are also based in our premises. We are a Christian charity and as such are involved with and provide support to Hope Huddersfield which co-ordinate churches across Huddersfield and also home to the Ark Church for services.

Theatro Technis runs a fully equipped theatre venue , a cultural & social community centre, providing education and training in all aspects of theatre craft.

Each artistic project is accompanied by youth and education work, particularly with minority groups and disadvantaged young people.
