Established in 1884 Oxford House is an arts and community centre in Bethnal Green. Oxford House provides (1) a community space including cafe, affordable office and hire space; (2) a creative place with classes and activities for all ages in the theatre, dance studio, gallery, chapel, and roof terrace and (3) a place to volunteer.

We add high-quality work to the cultural landscape, and tour our work as much as possible to benefit those living outside London. We provide workshops and 1:1 support to those with young onset dementia. Examples of our workshops are: choir, cycling, running, katakanuing, art, walking, gardening and drama. 1:1 support is tailored to the interests of the individual e.g. shopping, bowling, swimming, dog walking. We also provide an education course to those with young onset dementia and their family and carers.

The Frome Memorial Theatre facilities, run by volunteers, provide recreation and entertainment. A 540 seat Theatre houses arts and cultural performances. The Frome Assembly rooms are community facilities used for smaller performances and rehearsals, a day centre for the elderly, blood donor unit, council meetings and a facility for private functions. It is the home of the local War Memorial.
