Kindred Minds is a user led organisation created in 2012 by and for people with mental ill health to meet and offer each other support. We provide activities e.g. walking, excursions, ukulele, therapies, yoga, crafts etc, a buddy scheme, all of which supports our service users with their mental health recovery and wellness, which enables them to lead more positive, confident and active lives.

The BRIDGES Centre is a Christian project intended to be available to serve all members of the community and build bridges between all sections of it. The core use is as a pop in centre but it is also available for such groups as schoolchildren after school, young people during the evening, people learning household and cookery skills, and arts and crafts and the appreciation of them.

We are committed to a commemorative sculpture in memory of the 10th Battalion The Parachute Regiment and their 'best of times during the worst of times' spent in Leicestershire during 1944. We are also committed to raise funds to perpetuate the annual Somerby Commemoration. We also wish to help inform and educate the local (especially young) people of those world changing events.

The principal activities of the charity are the promotion and advancement of public education of the art of drawing and painting. Ford Green Hall Museum offers visitors a fascinating insight into the life in the 17th Century. The rooms are furnished with an outstanding collection of textiles, ceramics and furnature. The Hall welcomes all and appeals to a wide range of ages and encourages schools to visit and take part in activities.

Service users benefit from hot lunches, manicures, massages, opticians visits, health checks, advice and information on healthy living, keep-fit classes and support from a social worker and a nurse.
