We were constituted in June 1981 with the principal object of providing services and facilities for the well being of the elderly in our catchment area; comprising Lunch Club (three days), keep fit, genealogy, ceramic painting, befriending service for the vulnerable elderly living in the Cowplain ward and its surrounds.

The Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture Limited was formed in August 1987 as a Charitable Trust to display to the public the works of Sculptor Andrew Logan, to advance the education of the public in England and Wales. The Museum organises workshops, festivals & performances for adults & children, schools & college groups in Berriew, Montgomeryshire, Powys, Wales

The charity has been established to promote the art of embroidery as well as general charitable activities.

The advancement of education in Bushey and district by the provision of a community museum and art gallery and local studies centre with material of archaeological, historical, artistic and social interest.

The Sussex Guild continue to run the dedicated events room at The Sussex Guild Shop, Southover Grange, Lewes. Events undertaken include courses, instructional workshops and demonstration of crafts. Instructional demonstrations are also run at selected craft shows and at an annual event at the Shop.

We promote excellence in the field of the crafts. We have annual exhibitions, and actively support new graduates through our licentiate scheme. Our premises now include a gallery space where members can exhibit and sell their work, and attend member events, workshops and seminars.

The Society is a representative body of professional sculptors committed to making portrait and figurative sculpture accessible to a wider public. Its aim is to advance the art of three-dimensional and bas relief portraiture primarily through its Annual Open Exhibition and by seeking to encourage education and training in the art through lectures, prizes and sculpture classes.

The objects for which the company is registered are to promote, maintain, improve and advance education particularly by the encouragement of the Arts including the arts of drama, ballet, music, singing, literature, sculpture and painting.

The Unity Centre is a cafe/charity shop offering advice/befriending/hate crime support. Activities: karaoke, arts & crafts, Bang & Crash, wellbeing and Groove.Our Unity Youth Projects department runs The Fort, a gaming hub that specialises in improving social connectivity & life/social skills, through digital/IT-based & modernised projects & activities, such as card/board/video games, D&D & VR.

The BRIDGES Centre is a Christian project intended to be available to serve all members of the community and build bridges between all sections of it. The core use is as a pop in centre but it is also available for such groups as schoolchildren after school, young people during the evening, people learning household and cookery skills, and arts and crafts and the appreciation of them.

To raise funds from members' subscriptions, from organising educational visits, functions and parties, in order to aid the development of the York Art Gallery Collection and to sponsor activities to further the appreciation of fine arts in York and its immediate surrounds.

The principal activities of the charity are the promotion and advancement of public education of the art of drawing and painting. This is achieved through running life classes and workshops, the mounting of an annual open exhibition in London, the award of annual scholarships and the distribution by e-mail of a monthly newsletter that is circulated to Friends and a mailing list of supporters.

Provides out-of-school-hours activities for school age children, e.g. Chinese Language lessons (both Mandarin and Cantonese), Chinese Dance, Calligraphy, Crafts, etc, in Leeds and Districts. We also provide Chinese language lessons for adults and promote Chinese culture amongst local community.

The aim of the Charity is to promote the education of girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their community and the wider world. Somerset County is composed of 10 Divisions. Each of these has numerous units. Weekly guiding activities, camps, crafts and sporting events take place at all levels.

We aim to provide a happy stimulating and safe environment in which all children can learn through play with adult support and encouragement. Our activities in relation to these objectives are learning through play, eg. painting, Lego and outdoor play, group stories and songs and discussion times.

Training to the standards required by the Marine Society and Sea cadets. This includes boatwork, seamanship, map reading and navigation skills and all crafts and sports relevant to naval cadets. On-water boat training, shore based camps and training voyages on offshore vessels. Much of the training gives National Governing Body qualifications as well as B Tech courses. Cadets are aged 10 to 18

Weekly webcasts & lectures on Sufism, Koran classes & book reading, Tamarkoz (Meditation) classes, translation classes, Farsi classes, ceremonies & other events, interfaith activities, musical performances, arts and crafts and tuition on traditional Iranian instruments

The Charity operates Plas Dolerw as a Voluntary Sector Centre and organises an annual lecture to discuss issues of concern in Montgomeryshire. The Charity also owns Oriel Davies Gallery, which is leased to a separate charity. Exhibitions and arts education courses are provided there for the benefit of the people of mid Wales.

The Charity runs a bookshop in Cwmbran town centre. As part of the operation, many of the customers also seek to share burdens and are prayed for: effective counselling.

For use of inhabitants of the Parish of Mountfield and surrounding areas as a meeting place for village activities and recreations, such as parish council, social club, horticultural society, blind club, community transport, painting classes, dancing classes, birthday parties, wedding receptions, funeral wakes, fund raising activities.

We Have a large Hall for hire we can provide facilities for conferences, parties weddings etc and Smaller hall for smaller activities.Many local community groups use our hall for their activities, such as Art Groups,Dancing,Drop in coffee morning,Photography Club, Samsen Club for our senior residents to get together,Brownies,and Indoor Bowls Club. We also have a Post Office twice a week.
