We provide hall hire to a wide variety of groups/organisations. Our hall has a community fridge and there are many events run by our volunteers for the people of Highfield to become involved in: cash/prize bingo, psychic evenings, table top sales and our santa's grotto is not to be missed, we start the New Year with a family favourite - Panto!

Seaton Sluice Community Association own and manage the local Community Centre offering a range of leisure activities and educational courses. Community groups and local people are able to hire the premises and activities range from parent and toddler groups and youth clubs to the Women's Institute. Activities are as varied as Yoga, Craft Club, Woodworking,Choirs and the local history society.

THE COMMUNITY CENTRE IS OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY DURING DAY TIME AND IN THE EVENINGS FOR PRE BOOKED ACTIVITIES. U3A , VOLUNTEERS and INDIVIDUALS RUN CLASSES. OUR VOLUNTEERS AND INDIVIDUALS OFFER ACTIVITIES SOME OF WHICH ARE SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUTH WORK, AND ALSO FOR GROUPS WITH ADDITIONAL NEEDS. LIGHT REFRESMENTS ARE AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE MONDAY TO SATURDAY.

Running a community centre for the benefit of local residents

WE ARE THE BRIDGE BETWEEN ASHTON UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB AND THE COMMUNITY, AND SUPPORT THE WORK OF VOLUNTEERS ASSOCIATED TO ASHTON UNITED AND THE PROJECTS, EVENTS, AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES THAT TAKE PLACE. AS A FOCAL POINT OF THE COMMUNITY OF ASHTON HURST WE AIM TO TACKLE LOCAL ISSUES IDENTIFIED THROUGH CONSULTATION WITH OUR USERS, AND POTENTIAL USERS.

The Charity is a village hall used for the following activities:-Dance classes, carpet bowls, craft sessions, dog training, parent toddler group, and private functions such as weddings, childrens parties, education and other functions mostly related to the local community.

Operation and management of the Sycamore Halls Community Centre in Winklebury, Basingstoke

The Provision of Community / Village Hall facilities for a variety of local clubs and societies, these include, Sequence Dancing, Indoor Bowls Club, Photography Club, others included and also support to local fund raising events where suitable.

To provide and maintain a facility for use by the people of the Hurst Green Area for social, recreation and a variety leisure activities etc.

To offer people of all ages within the local community facilities for line dancing, ballet classes, kick boxing, childcare, and other traiing opportunites for people. To facilitate comminuty evenings, briinging Families together within the local area, and to offer volunteer opportunites for people to help in supporting these events.
