The charity's objects are to relieve sickness, preserve the health, and assist the recovery of patients of Cockermouth Community Hospital by providing or assisting in the provision of equipment, facilities and services not normally provided by, or ancillary to those provided by the statutory authorities or by the doctors, and to provide comforts to patients.
