The Relief of Poverty and Support of Religious and Charitable Institutions

The League's activities are personal service and fund raising. The League is responsible for the Hospital shop which opens each weekday from 10 am until 8pm and restricted hours at the weekend and public holidays. The profits from sales along with other moneys raised are used to purchase items for the benefit of the hospital and patients.

We hold various discos, quiz nights, cake sales as well as annual summer and Christmas fairs in order to raise funds to purchase items for the benefit of all pupils at the school and enrich their education experience at Bickley Primary School.

FABHD helps finance and support the children and local staff at Albella Boys Home in Kalimpong, Darjeeling District. Within a Christian ethos, Albella exists to help the poor and orphaned, by giving its residents a free home, education, and health facilities, and its non-resident boys and girls a free education.

To advance the education of the pupils in Sir William Perkins's School by:- 1) Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and 2) Engaging in activities to provide facilities or equipment which support the school.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN DANCE, MUSIC, THEATRE, MUSIC TECHNOLOGY, VISUAL ARTS AND CARNIVAL ARTS AND INTERNATIONAL CULTURES BY DELIVERING PROJECTS, EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS AND BY PROVIDING FUNDING ASSISTANCE TO SUPPORT INCLUSIVE ARTS ACTIVITIES AT THE VALE, TAMESIDE.

We hold 2 fairs annually, summer and Christmas time. We also hold cake sales, book sales, sweet cone sales and gift sales. We hold discos for all year groups and hold non-uniform days where children wear their own clothes for a £1 donation. We also have Christmas card designs for sale. All of this helps to raise important funds to expand the childrens' learning.

Fund raising to purchase equipment and provide improved facilities for the patients in Alder Hey Childrens Hospital annd their families

FFLAG provides support for parents and other family members of LGBT plus people across the UK by providing information, helplines and support groups. FFLAG provides information and support for individuals and organisations. FFLAG campaigns for equality on issues of sexuality, gender identity and gender expression. FFLAG works to reduce homophobia, transphobia and biphobia.

To support and informally educate young people in the Mole Valley area through their leisure time activities by the employment of youth worker(s), so as to develop their resilience, social, and technical capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and contribute as members of society.

The object of the charity is to advance musical education by promoting and sponsoring musical events - such as concerts - in the Teignbridge, Torbay and Devon education districts.

The Charity provides recreation and other leisure time pursuits for those in care and involves friends and families of those in care in the provision of such activities

Friends of KBF supports Kolkata Bhalobashi Foundation in India which provides education, opportunities and care for some of the most vulnerable people in Kolkata, India, facilitating education, and support for children who are disadvantaged by poverty and/or disability and caring for people who have no-one else to care for them.

To promote and develop the knowledge, understanding, appreciation, and performance of and participation in classical music by supporting the Traismeno Music Festival. To advance the education of the public in classical music by the provision of master classes.

The Friends of Llandaff Cathedral exists to support the Dean & Chapter by providing grants for the maintenance and enhancement of LlandaffCathedral, its buildings, contents and surroundings, and to support its traditions of worship including its music and choirs. To do this, we collect subscriptions from our members and receive donations, bequests and legacies.

Raising funds for the preservation, restoration, improvement and development of the church buildings, fabric, fittings, stained glass, ornaments, monuments and all other chattels in and belonging to the church of St. Mary the Virgin, Ross-on-Wye and its churchyard, and all additions thereto.
