The object of the Association is to advance the education of the pupils of the school. The Association engages in fundraising activities within the school community so that the school can provide such facilities or items for education at the school (not provided from statutory funds), as the Committee in consultation with the Governing Body shall from time to time determine.

The Friends of Sawbridgeworth Neuro Centres is a small charity dedicated to improving the lives of adults with severe brain injuries which lead to significant physical/ cognitive/communicative disability. We raise & disburse funds in order to provide therapeutic activities for residents and their families, to enhance their physical environment, and to relieve the poverty of those with no support.

The Charity holds fund raising events, usually on school property, to enhance the school life of pupils at Portishead Primary School.

Our purpose is to develop effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. We engage in activities or provide facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

We support children from humble backgrounds to remain in education also equipping the institutions.We finance feeding programs to minimise malnutrition amongst disabled children and encourage better inclusion of disabled children into education and their local community.
