The Friends Charity raises money to assist the Happisburgh Lighthouse Trust to maintain and preserve Happisburgh Lighthouse as a working light for the public benefit and as part of the national heritage. We open the Lighthouse to the public on Sundays during July and August and on Bank Holidays. Private visits can also be arranged.

We provide advice & expertise on heritage/ collections management, support acquisition, conservation & learning projects at Lydiard House & Park, & make research available to the public. We have contributed funds towards conservation of St.Mary's Church & are active in seeking to protect the Grade 1 buildings & historic landscape from housing development on its perimeter and other threats.
