Fundraising for the school

To raise funds for the benefit of pupils at Bettridge School

The Friends of Margam Park objectives are to conserve and enhance Margam Country Park, protect its natural beauty, raise the parks profile, increase public awareness and work with the Local Authority as well as other appropriate organisations. The Friends provide walks and tours with an historical interest, in the summer months together with other activities on a voluntary basis.

1. The advancement of Orthodox Jewish Religious Education; and 2. The advancement of the Orthodox Jewish Religion; and 3. The relief of poverty amongst persons of the Jewish Faith.

The object of the Friends is to advance and enhance the education of pupils of the school by: supplementing the resources and facilities used by the children (not normally provided by the Local Education Authority), fostering relationships between staff, parents and the local community, and engaging in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it.

Raising money for preserving the structure and fabric of the church

The support of rowing at St Edmund Hall Boat Club by providing advice, funding, equipment and coaching. We encourage rowing and give financial support to rowers training for competitive events by subsidising training camps, paying for coaching and ancillary expenses, such as travel costs; we also purchase rowing equipment for use by the boat club which is leased to it for a notional annual rent.

The Friends of Four Lanes Schools (Parent Teacher Association) raises money for use within both Four Lanes Infant School and Four Lanes Community Junior School, by organising various events and activities during the school year.

To raise funds for Springwood Special School in order to enhance the life chances of children between the ages of 3 and 11, all of whom have learning and physical disabilities

To develop food related initiatives, including a community allotment, in the Firth Park area to involve and engage the local community, especially parents and carers and young children, in improved healthy living styles, education, training and personal capacity building and community regeneration

Published newsletters;Conducted fund raising activities, i.e. a Tea and Cakes event at the annual Prom Concert and various raffles;Arranged for coaches to run from the village to a concert in Marlborough and accompanied the Band to a number of competitions;Funded the Training Band;Funded refurbishment of the Timpani, hall hire, conductor?s expenses, coach hire and purchase of music stands.

To advance the educational experience of the pupils in the school, in particular by raising funds to provide facilities, equipment, or opportunities which enhance the school and pupil's education.

With the renovation and refurnishing of St Anne's Hall finally completed we opened for hire with effect from 1 January 2012.Centrallyy located in the village of Wendover in Buckinghamshire our Hall is open to all members of our community.Demand is healthy; ranging for the commercial through a wide range of local clubs and associations to individual celebrations and children's parties.

We are an association of parents, staff members and other friends of a small village C of E (aided) primary school. We raise money to supplement the school's other income in order to advance the education of pupils at the school, and we organise social events to bring the different elements of the school community together.

Raising money for St Margarets, Collier Street Primary School

Fundraising via PTA to raise additional funds for infant school that can be used for new equipment books, enhancements to facilities. Fundraising activities include Christmas auction, quiz, easter & summer fayres and additional ad-hoc events throughout the year.

Support of Launde Abbey Retreat House. We also publish a magazine, Launde Leaves, twice a year and run an annual retreat for members of the Friends.
