The charity's main objecitve is the instruction of girls of all classes in the principals of discipline,loyalty and good citizenship.

We raise money solely for the school. We hold summer and christmas fairs, organise raffles throughout the year and normally one sponsored event a year.

The charity exists to relieve patients and former patients of the hospital and generally to support its charitable work. To support the work of the Museum and Art Gallery through fund-raising to assist the conservation of the collections and the cost of exhibitions, and the organising of public lectures to broaden the educational outreach of the Museum and Art Gallery.

The object of the Friends is to support the work of the Brantwood Trust, by making donations in support of Brantwood's educational work and the buildings preservation. Through a programme of events and study days it seeks to promote public understanding of John Ruskin and his contribution to arts and social philosophy.

Hold events at the school such as : disco, BBQ, May Fayre, Social Event, Panto, Christmas Fair etc...... to raise funds for the school to purchase extra equipment for all the children to benefit from.
