The Club organises events to raise money to help individuals and organisations at home and abroad in a variety of ways, eg by providing aqua boxes to produce drinkable water, shelter boxes (tents etc.) in disaster ares of the world and financing the digging of wells. It also uses funds to sponsor the youth of Thanet in various way, i.e direct sponsorship, RYLA, art competition and school proms.

The object of the charity is to distribute funds raised by the Rotary Club of Louth both internally and externally for the relief of the poor and needy or such other charitable purposes at the club at its weekly meetings may from time to time agree.

To apply the capital and income in the relief of the poor and needy or to such other charitable purpose institution society or object.

To raise funds to support local & International charities and charitable projects and to provide local support for individuals where needed.

Organises events within the area of operation with the intention of raising funds to be used for local and Rotary Charities. Donations are made to Organisations and Individuals with approval granted by the Council of the Rotary Club of Chepstow at its monthly meetings. Individual members of the Club from time to time give freely of their time to assist with local community projects and concerns.

Relief of the poor and needy or to or for such other charitable purpose, institution, society or object as the club shall in duly constituted meeting from time to time direct.Recent activities as directed by the club have been humanitarian aid to victims of natural disasters, general humanitarian aid, educational assistance.

The Trust's charitable objectives are met through annual plans developed by Club Committees and use the voluntary efforts of its members.The plans are published on the Club wedsite and include direct fund raising ,encouragement of other groups to raise funds and/or support Rotary programmes and service to the local community.Many Club activity outcomes are reported on the website.

Various activities including book fairs, quizzes, supermarket and street collections, sponsored events and smaller events to raise money for a variety of charities and good causes and to fund rotary projects

The provision of help to those in need on a local, national and international level in line with the principals of the Rotary movement.

These local charities include Thames Hospice, Alexander Devine, Maidenhead Foodshare and Thames Valley Adventure Playground.Schools competitions.International charities supported by Rotary International and through contact from other Rotary Clubs.

Application of our Trust Fund monies to support pensioner, social and youth groups, and to promote reading skills in the Ellesmere area.Also, to support emergency aid appeals in the UK and beyond.
