General Charitable purposes

Fund raising is by means of a house to house collection at Christmas and numerous events during the year. Donations are made to various rotary international projects, disasters, national and local organisations, charities and activities involving children.

Tunbridge Wells Rotary Club Trust is a charity whose objects are to assist sporting, welfare, educational and religious projects by financial support at the discretion of the trustees. The charity raises funds for these projects by receiving donations from the members of the Tunbridge Wells Rotary Club and by organising fund raising events.

RAISING MONEY AND PROVIDING DONATIONS TO OTHER CHARITIES AND NEEDY CAUSES OPERATING BOTH IN THE UK AND ABROAD.

To support young people through schools and organisations; channel funds we have raised into supporting other charitable organisations and help in individual cases of need.

Evergreen Care Trust- providing services for the elderly and vulnerable members of society in Stamford area.Friends of Stamford Rec- helping to enable full use of the town's facilities for the benefit of all community members.Myosotis Trust, Barlad. Casa Esme Day Centre -provision of expert help in assessment/welfare needs of children with wide range of special needs.

TO ASSIST OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATIONS BY MAKING GRANTS TO THEM.

Our Rotary Club is a member of Rotary International(RIBI) and provides support/aid to local, national and international causes.

RELIEF OF THE POOR AND NEEDY OR TO OR FOR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE, INSTITUTION, SOCIETY OR OBJECTS AS THE CLUB SHALL DULY CONSTITUTED MEETING FROM TIME TO TIME DIRECT.
