Scout Group

A Young Persons Scouting Group based in the village of Monk Bretton Barnsley. The group caters for the following Scouting sections Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.The group activities cover Educational and Environmental as well as outside pursuits and away days covering all aspects of the Scouting ethos with the emphasis on fun and friendship and respect for others.

Educational and recreational activities for children from age 6 in Beaver, Cub and Scout sections.

Education and training of local young people in the Scouting Movement.

To support and assist the Scout Groups and Explorer Scout Units of the District in achieving the purpose of the Scout Association by employing the method of the Scout Association.

Scouting activities for boys and girls from age 6 to 14 1/2 years.

Scouts Cubs Beavers , to provide a balanced programme including activities for the young people to promote respect, understanding, and religion also to have fun.

Local scout group comprising of beaver, cub and scout sections. Meets weekly.

The Milford and Keyhaven Sea Scout Group (the 15th New Forest South) has been established for over 40 years and is part of the Scout Association. It has three sections the Beavers, the Cub Scouts and the Scouts. The Scout Hut is located in Keyhaven and activities include land based activities (indoors and outdoors), Kayaking and Sailing

MCDF supports a number of projects which come under the following headings:Health Enterprise Education Scouting Community We rely entirely on volunteers and fundraising to support our work. The work of MCDF is managed by unpaid Trustees based in the UK and Uganda.

Scout group

Raising money to support branch activities and national charities of a nautical nature. To assist any charity when its support is to the benefit of the reputation and best interests of the association, and to support any youth organisation with a specific nautical connection such as sea cadet associations and sea scouts
