As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the Goytre Scout Group gives the young people of Penperlleni village and the surrounding area the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

Scouting

Scouting Activities for young people aged 6 to 14.With an emphasis on sailing and canoeing.We encourage young people to develop self-reliance and learn new skills which will be useful to them in later life.

We work with children & young people between the ages of 4 to 14 yrs. We use our facilities for meetings and get outdoors for adventurous and community activities. We do fundraising to maintain the building and support activity costs, pay our ground rent and everyday services. We hold occasional fundraising / sponsored events to supplement our membership fees.

The charity provides scouting activities for local boys and girls.

The Group is an educational charity established under rules that are common within The Scout Association. It has Beaver, Cub and Scout sections, which are based at The Scout Hut, Queens Road, Gossoms End, Berkhamsted, HP4 3HU.

We set out to provide education/training, sport/recreation to children/young people in a fun and disciplined manner.

The 1st Bilston Scout Group is one of the oldest in the world we offer activities for Beavers,Cubs and Scouts and also find a home for Rainbows,Brownies,Guides and The Panther Explorer Scout Unit.We offer all sort of Scouting activities indoor and Outdoor and the opportunities to gain new life skills

Weekly meeting of children and young people in groups to suit their ages. There are social, creative and informative activities such as craft, camping, visits to outdoor places of interest in the Maidenhead area. We follow the Scouting guidelines and are an active part of the wider scounting community.

Provision of cub/scouting skills and experience to children in the age range 6-14.

The group offers the full range of scouting activities - beavers from 6-8 years through to explorers from 14-18 years.

Shefford Scouts is part of the UK Scout Association. We currently run Beavers, Cubs, Scout and Explorer sections.
