The Charity was formed to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. The group holds weekly meetings for Beaver Scouts, Cub scouts, Scouts and Explorer scouts where they can pursue activities relevant to their age group.

Based in Old Costessey, providing a programme of activities for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts . Includes weekly meetings for each section and camping weekends, enjoyment of district events and national jamborees.

The 18th Bristol Scout Group runs Beaver, Cub and Scout packs for children in Redland and Cotham, urban suburbs in north central Bristol. All three groups are fully subscribed and serve an area of Bristol which has no council supported youth centre or youth workers.

Bere Regis Scout Group is a thriving, village-based group serving young people from a number of scattered, mainly rural communities. It has more than 80 young people in membership, evenly split between boys and girls, with 12 adult and 8 young leaders.There is a full range of activities for the Beaver, Cub and Scout sections including sports, camps, trips, and crafts.

General Scouting activities

Provides opportunities for boys and girls aged 6 to 14 years within the general remit of the Scout Association.

THE GROUP EXISTS TO PROMOTE SCOUTING ACTIVITIES AS DESCRIBED IN SCOUTING LAW AS SET DOWN BY LORD BADEN POWELL, AND TO ENCOURAGE ITS GROWTH THROUGH THE RELEVANT AGE GROUPS OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE LOCAL AREA.

WE PROVIDE AN ENJOYABLE AND ATTRACTIVE SCHEME OF PROGRESSIVE TRAINING, BASED ON THE SCOUT PROMISE AND LAW, WHICH IS GUIDED BY ADULT LEADERSHIP. YOUNG PEOPLE ENJOY LEARNING BY DOING, PARTICIPATE IN VARIED AND PROGRESSIVE ACTIVITIES, MAKE CHOICES FOR THEMSELVES, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN ACTIONS, WORK IN GROUPS, TAKE INCREASING RESPONSIBILITY FOR OTHERS, AND TAKE PART IN ACTIVITIES OUTDOORS.

Each week the 8th Aldershot (Church of Ascension) Scout Group gives young people of Aldershot and the surrounding area the opportunity to enjoy fun an adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.
