General Scouting activities

The Scouts are dedicated to the development of boys and girls by the use of teaching and the involvement in activities such as canoeing, climbing, camping, archery, swimming and a whole host of activities which are recognised by the gaining of awards (badges).

The provision of training, recreation, arts, culture and sports activities for children and young people under the guidelines set out by The Scout Association.

Activities include camping, visits, sailing, water sports, bowling, hillwalking, learning about cooking, and gardening, and taking part in various fund-raising activities.

1ST CHINLEY SCOUT GROUP PROVIDES LEISURE ACTIVITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS TOGETHER WITH EXCURSIONS AND CAMPS

To train young people in Scouting Skills which covers a wide range of activities.

Our charity is under the umbrella of the Scouting movement. Our activities are varied reaching out to young people from ages 6 upwards. Examples: camping hiking sports cooking etc.

Delivering the principles of Scouting as defined by the Scout Association of England and Wales to young people aged between 6 and 14 in the and around the Great Linford area of Milton Keynes. This is done without regard to race, creed, colour or gender.
