Hartwell Community Centre offers residents the opportunity to book the facilities for personal events such as birthday celebrations and other parties. It also offers an ideal location for the various user groups which currently include PreSchool Playgroup, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, WI, Tuesday Circle over 60s club, Hartwell Parish Council & Youth Club

Providing scouting activities to young people.

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week Greens Norton Scout Group give young people of Greens Norton and the surrounding area the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

The charity is a scout group within the Scout Association. It provides an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training of children, youths & young adults. This scheme is based on the scout promise and law and is guided by adult leadership.

The group offers all the usual activities of a Scout Group for children from age 7 years up to young leaders of 18 years plus.

The activities of the group are as a unit of the Scout Association.

To promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.Includes Beavers, Cubs and Scout groups.

BEAVERS, CUBS AND SCOUTS ORGANISATION

Cookridge Village Scout Group is part of the Scout Association movement, the aim of which is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international community. Scouting prepares young people with skills for life.

Active in the community supporting the WI and providing facilities for various community activities including Pre-School, WI meetings, Dance classes, Yoga, Martial Arts, Crafting, Wine Talks, Scout Group and community events.

Outddor and indoor group activities open to all young people from the ages of 6 to 14.

We provide fun activities for children ranging from 6 years to 14 years, this is in Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. These activities can be craft based, games based and we also go out into the community on hikes, camps and walks. The children can also work towards badges individually or as a group that helps them gain more confidence with; team work, communication and confidence.
