The Lions Club of Dursley is a totally voluntary organisation with the principal objective of raising money to support the needy of the Dursley area, and to support other charities and organisations. The major fund raising events is the sale of second hand furniture from premises in Dursley.

Provide services and raise monies to support local, national and international charitable activities.

The charity supports local and international charitable objectives. This includes: support to international disasters and emergencies, eg. tsunamis, earthquakes: general humanitarian support, eg. distribution of medical equipment in the third world; support to local hospices, hospitals and disabled institutions and support to needy individuals.

Weston-super-Mare Rotary Club operates within Rotary International District 1200 fulfilling the objectives of Rotary. Through its members, The Club organises various local fund raising events during the year to raise money for distribution to selected charities and deserving causes.

Callington lions club have about 20 members. These members raise funds giving support to the local community & man power to assist with members of the community when needed. Additionally to this we support various international & uk based lions appeals. eg. Flooding, earthquake & other weather related disasters around the world. We fund raise throughout the year, Honey fair, bingo evenings.

We have organised Concerts, Music competition, Store Collections, Santa Sleigh collections and a Car Boot Sale

The club endeavours to raise fund with various event throughout the year. the objects are to support local and Lion's charities. Fund raising events are in the areas of Windermere and Ambleside but grants are made to worthy causes in the South Cumbria Area and internationally through the Lions Club International Foundation.

We provide support to the local community and also internationally via Lions Clubs International. Our activities include local fundraising via collections and special events, a fuel poverty and hardship support scheme, providing lunch on Christmas Day for people who live alone, projects in schools and assistance to other community organisations.

Doncaster Lions Club serves its local Doncaster community as well as helping people internationally. Its work with people of all ages who are disabled and or disadvantaged benefits not only those who are helped but also the wider community by making Doncaster a better place to live and work.
