The objects of the charity are: (i) To provide comforts for the relief of aged poor persons residing in the Bournemouth area and (ii) To make contributions to other charitable & benevolent organisations directed to the public benefit.

Service Organisation

We raise funds through events, e.g. Treasure hunts, Gourmet Evenings, Quizzes and collections.

As part of the International Association of Lions Clubs worldwide we operate within the guidelines so laid out. Specifically we raise funds for the support and help of any person or persons or organisation which reside or operate within the Basingstoke Area who are judged to be in need.
