THE CLUB IS AN AUTONOMOUS PART OF LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL WHICH HAS 1.4 MILLION MEMBERS WORLDWIDE. ASSISTANCE IS GIVEN LOCALLY IN NORTH DORSET AND SOUTH SOMERSET TO INDIVIDUALS, GROUPS AND OTHER CHARITIES BY WAY OF EQUIPMENT PURCHASES, GRANTS ETC. SUPPORT IS ALSO GIVEN TO NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CAUSES RECOGNISED BY LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL, PARTICULARLY HEALTH, SIGHT AND YOUTH ISSUES.

We support charities and organisations in Westminster and neighbouring areas . We also support projects overseas with the help of local Rotary Clubs.

THE CLUB OPERATES ACROSS THE CITY OF LEEDS CORE AREA. THE CLUB SUPPORTS WORTHY CAUSES AND CHARITIES IN THE LOCAL AREA AND LIONS CHARITIES INTERNATIONALLY AND NATIONALLY. ALL CLUB MEMBERS WORK WITHOUT REWARD AND ARE INDEPENDENT OF ALL POLITICS OR RELIGION. THE AIMS ARE THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND THE SUPPORT OF THOSE IN NEED IN PARTICULAR BY PROVIDING HUMANITARIAN AID AND DISASTER RELIEF.

General fund raising by social functions and receipt of gift aid and other donations to be applied for charitable purposes.

Burnley Lions Club (CIO) raises funds from the public through organising events such as dinners; Easter egg tombola in business premises; attendance at fetes. Money is spent for the benefit of communities in Burnley & Pendle & occasional contributions to international disasters through Lions Clubs International Foundation. Spectacles are recycled & trees planted.

The Tetbury Lions Trust is a grant-making body established with the principal aim to support individuals and/or organisations within Tetbury, Gloucestershire or in the geographical area surrounding Tetbury. We also donate to specific charitable projects supported by other Lions Clubs within the UK and, very occasionally, to worldwide projects undertaken or supported by Lions International.

Bradford Central Lions club CIO operate in the city of Bradford. They raise funds through various activities at Galas and static collections. The funds are used in our district to help the elderly, youth groups and those in need in the area. We also donate towards international projects through Lions clubs International Foundation.
