The trust aims to collect as much information and artefacts as possible in connection with the Kennet Valley area during World War II. This is put into the museum at Littlecote House, Hungerford, Berkshire. The intention is use the information, artifacts and displays in the museum to help educate all age groups and nationalities to the history of the Kennet Valley in WWII.

A voluntary organisation enabling women to provide an effective role in the community, to expand their own horizons and to develop and pass on important skills. This is done by taking part in activities such as art and craft, cookery, walks, visiting local residential homes, holding meetings with a wide of range of speakers and generally getting involved in the local community.

Womens Institute for the women of Fowey

We meet every month with a meeting and a speaker or a demonstration. We also go on educational trips.

TO PROVIDE A COMMUNITY SERVICE FOR FRIENDSHIP AND EXCHANGE OF KNOWLEDGE. WE HAVE SERIES OF VARIOUS SPEAKERS, DEMONSTRATIONS AND DAYS OUT. FREQUENT OPEN MEETINGS ARE ARRANGED FOR NON MEMBERS.

Education, training and social

Mainly we make one-off grants to local bodies, eg, to the youth section of the village sports club for a "Wii".

The group meets once a month. It is an important social gathering for the membership who are elderly. We have interesting speakers and include sessions learning crafts. We have outings to places of interest with educational input. We support the work of the IOW Ability Dogs for young people.

Women meeting Women for exchange of educational ideas and fulfillment

Providing women of all ages and interests an opportunity to take part in activities within the local community; this can take the form of educational trips covering a very wide range of subjects but also to providing friendship often to our older members. We meet at least once a month and join other W.I.'s periodically for interactive events.

We realise potential and improve the lives of the most vulnerable families in CroydonEstablished in October 2012, The HIVE Croydon builds on the strengths of the support for local families formally provided by WIN Extended Services and Croydon Children?s University?. As a charity, we offer a sustainable model of continued support for the local community through the St Andrew?s Community Hub.
