The main purposes of Greenefielde's Women's Institute are to advance the education of women for the public benifit in all areas such as crafts, home economics, health and social welfare.

Our local W.I. provides members with guest speakers. These speakers offer a wide variety of topics and information.We also hold coffee mornings and support local activities within the community.

We meet monthly when we enjoy speakers on interesting subjects.We have group walks, trips out to interesting places. We work towards the women's Institute goal: To create a world where women come together to learn, share skills and work together to become active citizens, influencing change to improve lives in their local, national and global communities.

Monthly meetings educational and social

Ambergate Women's Institute is a local branch of the National Federation of Women's Institutes. The aim is to promote the education of women, provide social and craft activities and get involved in local events. The meetings take place monthly, with the exception of August, and usually commence with a speaker chosen from a wide range of subject matter.

Monthly educational meeting. Help develop conditions of rural life. To ask questions in both national and international in music, drama and other cultural subjects.

Creates memorials on behalf of Arctic (WWII) campaign veterans which includes "living memorials".

We provide coffee & teas for the over 60's while they wait for the buses or have been shopping. Provide shelter from the weather when required and a place to get information from AGE UK.

Charity is a branch of the Estate Charity of Thomas Rogeron.. It provides monetary help in cases of hardship and need such as paying for training, pets bills, disabled access, opticians expenses. It supports the local over 60s club and WI, allowing them to meet monthly and enjoy a Christmas lunch. It also gives grants to the local educational foundation and Ecclesiastical charity.

Maintain and insure etc Women's Institute Hall. The only hall in the 4 parishes, used by Pixley District Parish Council, Munsley P.C.C., Election Services, Hereford South Farm Women's Club, Hospice fund raising meetings, Munsley W.I., local bands and young dancers use it for practices.

We support the aims and objects of the W.I. by advancing the education of women for the public benefit in all areas including national and international issues, music, drama and other cultural subjects. The WI seems to give women the opportunity of working together through the organisation in their communities and of developing their capacity and skills and of putting into practice those ideals.

The W.I. exists to educate women, to enable them to provide an effective role in the community, expand their horizons and to develop and pass on skills. This is achieved through educational courses covering I.T., cookery, craft cultural pursuits, sport and health and many others.
