The Unit aims to train and develop both its young people and its volunteer instructors to enable them to compete and be prepared for an ever-changing, competitive and demanding world. Tivetshall Village Hall is hired out for meetings, functions, private parties, scout groups, sports and fitness clubs, and other similar activities. The trustees operate a pop-up community cafe twice a month.The Village Hall Management Committee and its trustees are responsible for the day-to-day running, maintenance and upkeep of the Hall.

Recreational activities for young people including, sailing, canoeing, boatwork, camping, offshore sailing, camps and training courses.

To help young people towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based on the customs of the Royal Navy.

THE VILLAGE HALL IS HIRED TO CLUBS AND GROUPS FOR THERE USE EG: YOGA CLUB, DANCE CLUB, BOWLS CLUB, BROWNIES ETCTHE HALL IS ALSO HIRED OUT FOR PARTIES AND SOCIAL EVENTS. Also for meetings such as Parish Council and Old Comrades Association

As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 5th Beccles Scout Group give young people of Beccles the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed.

The Objective of Congleton Drill Hall Trust is to provide facilities for furthering the efficiency of units and members of the Reserve Forces and the Service Cadet Organisations in the Borough of Congleton, Cheshire East, Cheshire West, Chester and the County of Cheshire.

It is a Trust established to hold and administer an 8 acre field of agricultural land. The field has had no use till this year other than grazing for ponies from a nearby riding school. It is now being leased to the local scout troop who have recently been made 'homeless' for their activities. The income is to be distributed to four named charities.
