We are a family of charities & community of people supporting those most in need in the West Midlands. We want everyone, regardless of age or circumstances, to feel secure, have opportunities and to thrive. We do this by providing social care services to people in need, services to advance the opportunities of children and young people & safe, affordable and well-maintained alms-housing.

The principal activity of the charity is to make grants for the benefit of children, their welfare, protection and care.

Provision of a welfare programme of services and benefits to employees, ex employees and dependents of employees and ex employees of Pilkington Group Limited with an over riding limitation to those in necessitous circumstances.

Project 6 is a voluntary sector drug & alcohol provider in Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven, Sheffield and Doncaster. We provide advice & support to substance users, their families and carers. We deliver open access harm reduction services, structured treatment and recovery services in the community, primary and secondary care settings. We also offer peer mentoring and volunteering opportunities.

Family for Every Child is an international alliance of local civil society organisations which work together (under the Charity's guidance) to mobilise knowledge, skills and resources dedicated to ensuring that more children can grow up in safe and caring families or in appropriate alternative care.

The provision of high quality support and advice to meet the needs of children, young people and adults with a learning disability. This includes support and advice to families and carers. The major areas of activity are : day services, residential services, community support, befriending and advocacy.

Lifeworks focuses on the needs of children with learning disabilities and their families, providing them with new opportunities that will lead to full, rewarding and active lives through the delivery of specialist further education, informal individualised learning programmes promoting independence and social skills, social care, short breaks and recreational projects.

The legally permitted objectives are very wide and cover virtually every generally accepted charitable object. However, in practice the causes to which the Trustees have devoted the bulk of resources in recent years have been medical research, education and relief for the less fortunate.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 3 MONTH - 16 YEARS FROM THE JEWISH COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING AN EDUCATIONAL FRAMEWORK WHICH COMPLIES WITH STANDARDS IDENTIFIED BY THE DEPARTMENT FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES (DFES)TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS AT BEIS MALKA NURSERY AND SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES BEYOND THAT WHICH IS REQUIRED

At present, we have two core activities: Queensmill College, a further eduction and supported internship programme for young people with autism aged 19-25; and QHouse, a respite centre for young people with autism where children and their families can stay overnight or enjoy sessional care or holiday clubs in a specially structured safe environment.

The charity seeks to provide information and support to family carers who are elderly disabled or chronically sick and to advance public education about family caring, involve carers in consultation and enable them to have a voice in the county and influence change in policies and improvements in services that affect carers' lives.

The Fishermen's Mission maintains a Christian presence in United Kingdom's fishing communities, in order to provide, regardless of race or creed, practical, welfare and spiritual support to active and retired fishermen and their families. In particular it provides a 24/7 emergency service in event of accidents to fishermen.
