Meldreth Village Hall provides local, affordable facilities for a wide range of activities supporting all age groups. It offers an excellent venue for key activities such as Babies and Toddlers' Groups, Table Tennis, Local History Society, Children's parties, WI, Keep fit, Dancing, family parties. All these activities are essential to the maintenance and development of village life.

We provide a free, confidential voluntary service offering extra care to those living with life limiting illnesses and support to their carers in Leighton Buzzard, Linslade and the district. Our service provides an opportunity for clients to have someone to talk to outside of the family unit, or for their carers to have some respite.

The Gibraltar Naval Trust awards grants to provide maximum benefit to the welfare of uniformed service personnel - and their dependent family members - while they are serving under the Command of Commander British Forces Gibraltar.

The Mothers' Union provides Christian care for families worldwide. In the Bath & Wells Diocese in 2018 we had 1141 members. We have three Child Contact Centres and a Passionate about Parenting project; we provide Away From It All Holidays for families in adversity; we provide knitted and sewn items for local special baby units and residential homes; and support the Mothers' Union work worldwide.

Grants for goods and services in relief of poverty are made to families and individuals in need. Applications on behalf of beneficiaries are considered from professionals and others working within the community. Benefits are confined to beneficiaries residing in the former Borough of CHATHAM.

The Charity helps present and retired members of staff and their families who experience financial difficulties. Each case is assessed on its own merits.

We provide a variety of social and leisure activities and opportunities for our members who have a learning disability and/or SEND needs (extended to family members, guardians, carers). We maintain a well kept village hall providing facilities for local and non local residents. Activities include facilities for badminton, weekly circuit training, weekly special needs playgroup, Ring Craft. Mothers' Union seeks to support marriage and family life particularly in the context of the Christian Faith. We do this through various groups and activities in local communities, attached to parish churches, and alongside existing structures and activities. We also raise funds to run projects within the diocese, and send funds to the central Mothers Union for overseas projects

We currently provide a centre for village activities such as Pilates, Dance Tuition, Yoga, Fitness etc. We also provide a meeting place for use by local organisations, the Village Primary School, by local people for weddings and other family gatherings and for the TMH community cinema. The hall amenity area is also used by various local organisations for village activities throughout each year.

St Paul's Cray Community Association is managed by a committee of local people mostly volunteers. The hall for hire is called ' Sanderson Hall' ,a variety of activities are run weekly, and on Saturdays for family parties etc. There is a small stage and dressing room, a kitchen, a male,female and disabled toilets with baby changing facilities, a car park and full disabled access.

The Thalidomide Society works with thalidomide and similarly impaired people, their families and supporters. The Society provides a social network for thalidomide and similarly impaired people and strives to keep the story of thalidomide alive by working with media and medical professionals and students and all other people interested in the history of thalidomide.

The main purpose of the charity is to promote, support,assist and improve Frank Wise School for the benefit of its pupils. We fundraise for many activities to support the children both during their school life and their family life. This can include subsidising residential trips, day trips and evening activities.We also fundraise for providing building work to improve the children's school life.

Iain Rennie Hospice at Home is part of RGHC which provides palliative care for adults and children who have been diagnosed with cancer or another life limiting illness in Herts & Bucks. Through our 24/7 responsive hospice at home service, our specialist nurses give patients the choice to be cared for at home. We also offer support services for families and, in Herts, a range of day services.

We work with families and children mainly from an the local settled Gypsy/Traveller community who live in rural isolation. We employ two part time Community Development workers. We advocate on behalf of the community with outside agencies.

We promote throughout Kent the welfare of persons requiring Renal Replacement Therapy and provide support and information to those patients and their families and carers. We create awareness of Renal Failure and thus encourage the Kidney Donor System.
