LCM is an umbrella organisation representing Mosques and religious teaching institutions in Lancashire. We serve the communities of Lancashire, working on issues of education, employment, health, crime and antisocial behaviour, media, quality assurance, young people and families. We seek to promote the awareness of the faith of Islam, fostering understanding and better community relations.

The Ipswich Orchestral Society performs three concerts per year for the public. We invite international soloists for two of these. Our third concert (family concert) we taylor to attract a younger audience - our aim is to introduce children to the pleasure of music making via a lighter programme.

The charity annually canvasses local schools and communities in the villages immediately North of Ipswich in post code IP6, to find families in financial need, and students, up to age 25, in universities and similar institutions, whose circumstances may be restricting their educational opportunities. Annual grants are awarded based on evidence of need, and graded according to the ages of children.

PRINCIPAL OBJECT IS TO HELP IMPOVERISHED MEMBERS OF THE MEDICAL PROFESSION AND THE BARBERS' TRADE AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE CHARITY PROVIDES PENSIONS AND ALLOCATED DISBURSEMENTS TO HELP THE ELDERLY AND RETIRED.

The principle activities of the charity include: weekend & monthend prayer meetings; Every second Friday night prayers; weekend classes for adults and children; observing Laylatul Qadr night of power prayer; monthly youth activities; yearly Eid festival prayers and celebrations, annual Graduation thanksgiving, family summer outings/trips/funfair and regular visit, advice and advocacy as necessary.

The Christleton County Primary School Association (CCPSA) raises funds through events like school discos, Christmas fairs, family fun nights, and quizzes to support Christleton County Primary School. The Trust made a total of 55 (2033:49) grants in 2024 averaging £244 (2023:£310).A very high proportion were to single parent families struggling to pay bills for essential costs of living and unforeseen expenditure.2024 saw a 59% decrease (2023-67% increase) in donations and a 9% (2023:19%) decrease in grants.A very successful appeal for funds was made in April 2025.
