The Cornforth Partnership aims to tackle and alleviate the issues local people and communities face within County Durham in relation to Health, Social, Economic and Educational deprivation. We provide services around 5 broad themes: Children, Young People and Families Domestic Abuse Older Person and Adult Well being Employment, training and Welfare

To provide needs-led and user-led culturally appropriate services and act as a point of resource for Disabled people, their carers and families. To work in partnership and collaboration with service planners to support the needs of Disabled People. To deliver culturally sensitive and appropriate services for Asian Disabled people and their Carers.

The Charity has financially contributed towards respite and welfare associated activities or events that promote the well-being of the Regiment. The Charity remains in a position to provide financial support to former and serving members of the Regiment and their immediate families at a time of need. Income is generated from endorsed fundraising events and Benefactor or Corporate donations.

Home-Start Kirklees is a volunteer led family support charity offering early intervention support to vulnerable families with young children. Support centres on 1:1 home visits made by specialist staff & community volunteers. Volunteers are recruited, trained & supervised in a range of roles. We specialise in supporting young parents 14-24 years with peer support, 1:1 support & group activities.

Provides peer support to the families of police officers and police staff who have lost their lives while on duty. This support can be of a one to one nature or group activities such as parents weekends, spouses weekends and children's activities.
