Home-Start Wandsworth provides support for local families who are struggling for a variety of reasons including poverty, poor housing, mental and physical illness or disability, bereavement and/or social isolation.

Home-Start Surrey, through the 8 local schemes across the county, delivers free, confidential and non-judgemental support to families with a child under five years of age. Under the umbrella of Home-Start Surrey, trained volunteers support families with a tailor made service in their own home, with Home-Start Surrey providing joint approaches and good practice to support these quality services.

The Charity raises money through its shops in Bordon, Liphook, Haslemere and Grayshott plus donations. Grants are normally made to beneficiaries in North East Hampshire and South West Surrey area.Application are from local agencies such as CAB, Social Service, School and Family Centres and local schools, not direct. Beneficiaries are individuals, families and other charities.

The Charity's main object is the promotion of the Christian Faith through Dalesdown & Children Worldwide. It runs Dalesdown Conference, Camping, Activity Centre used by children, young people and families. The main activities of Children Worldwide include camps work, training events and Spring Harvest.

The Hair and Beauty Charity is dedicated to helping hair and beauty professionals in need. We offer financial support to individuals and their families facing difficult times due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness, bereavement and financial hardship.

Rett syndrome is the most common cause of profound and multiple disability in females. A complex neurological condition genetic but not usually hereditary, it can occur in any family. We offer support, advocacy and advice to all those affected. We fund research to improve diagnosis, ameliarate symptoms and improve the quality of life of the thousands of people living with Rett syndrome today.

Scoliosis Association UK and British Scoliosis Research Foundation merged on 1st January 2023 and relaunched as Scoliosis Support and Research on 1st January 2024.We provide support and information to people affected by scoliosis and their families and raise awareness. We fund top quality research into scoliosis and hold an international symposium bringing together world renowned experts.

Sandy Bear strengthen the emotional health and well-being of young people aged 0-25 (and their families) in the lead up to and following a bereavement. We aim to reduce emotional difficulties in childhood and the prevalence of mental illness in later life that can result in a decreased quality of life, poorer educational attainment, social and health problems and increased vulnerability.

Southall Baptist Church provides worship and prayer and carries out dedication services for new born children and adult baptism by immersion following a person becoming a Christian. The church is licensed to register Marriages and Blessing of Marriages (following Registry Office weddings). Funeral services for members of the church family and also the community are also taken.

The Centre will be used to address the inter-generational community cohesion, social health andwell-being of young people, families, and older people; provide direct access and/or pointers to essentialservices; provide recreational, educational and personal development opportunities for the whole of thewider community of Brinsworth Parish.

Volunteer support for families with pre-school children living in the Erdington/Stockland Green area of Birmingham. Families are referred to Home-Start by Health Visitors, Midwives, Social Workers,etc., with the families consent. Volunteers visit families in the families own home for a few hours per week. All volunteers attend a preparation course and have an enhanced criminal record bureau check.

Storeroom2010 enables low income families maintain living standards by offering discounted prices on many items for referred clients. In 2024 we saved approx. 146,500kgs of furniture and household goods from going to landfill. Storeroom2010 also offers work experience placements and volunteer opportunities. We also have a Community Men in Sheds project which began in May 2018.

Home-Start Guildford offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children in the localcommunity. We recruit and train volunteers who are usually parents themselves to visit families with at least one child under five, at home, and offer them informal, friendly and confidential support.
