We work with the most disadvantaged Women & Children in Uganda & Kenya. Most of our work is in the cities and mostly in the slum areas. We try to Empower Women through self-help assistance projects. Since 2016 we have been concentrating on the rescue and rehabilitation of street orphans, girls and boys in the city of Kampala in Uganda. We provide a safe family style home food and education.

Youth and Community Centre with Sports Hall with facilities such as badminton, squash, indoor football, basketball, community and arts facilities including conference and celebration activities particularly in support of community voluntary youth work.

It is a group of children, aged from 7 till 16, who play football in teams according to their age. We have 20 teams and 180plus children registered including a girls only team. The children train once during the week either inside a school gym or outside if weather permits and play the game on a Sunday on the school field and the younger ones at our own field.

SisterWood holds forest school style sessions for young women and those that idenfity as female aged 12-16, who are struggling with their mental health. BEJT funds a hostel for girls from disadvantaged backgrounds in Delhi, and hostels for boys and girls in Itarsi MP, providing the children (mostly picked up on railway stations) with a place of safety and the chance of education. It makes occasional grants to organisations doing similar work, provides financial support to the sick or destitute, and enables poor children to get an education.
