Optim helps a Doncaster Baptist church with the needy and homeless. As a member of Community Chaplaincy Association we work with M25, supporting ex-offenders, and the Doncaster Christian community work for the night-time economy, which has grown over the past year, as well as Full Gospel Business Men, Baptist Mens Movement, UCB, HTB ex-offenders and Kairos.

We meet weekly to pursue individual or group projects, mostly enjoyable and useful wood, metalwork or craft. We make small wooden items to raise funds and do outreach projects for other charities. We enjoy our coffee breaks with biscuits and sometimes cakes when we discuss matters of common interest. We say: It's not about the destination but more about the journey. If it's not fun we don't do it!

2019 is the 50th Anniversary year of Harrogate Male Voice Choir.We give some 10-12 concerts during the year to raise funds for national and local charities such as the Royal British Legion, the Marie Curie Charity and the Clock Charity at Thirsk. This has also included combining with choirs from all parts of the UK performing at the Royal Albert Hall to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

Sporting Chance Middlesbrough is an organisation which works for the health and well-being of people over 50 in Middlesbrough . At present we have almost 100 male members. Aerobic sessions are run by qualified instructors on 2 occasions per week . On Tuesday night a we meet at the local swimming baths for aqua aerobics . There is a Walking group that meets for hour long weekly walk.

Youth club activities provided for membership of youing adults (year 11 upwards) both male and female from the local community. The club attracts between 25-30 people per session. Our goal is to give young asults a place to belong whilst being in an interested and productive environment.

Our charity provides a meeting place for primarily older men in the community where they canmeet others and share their skills and abilities through creative activities such as woodwork,art games (e.g. chess) and other social activities. We also provide tools and equipment wherenecessary. Our aim is to enable older men who might feel isolated to engage with other individuals in the community

Community support for hard to reach groups including but exclusive to families in furniture poverty and in need of household essentials, those experiencing family break down and men experiencing challenges with isolation and poor mental health.

Men Who Talk runs regular online peer-to-peer support groups for men aged 18 plus in the UK. The groups offer lower-level support and are loosely themed on set topics. The charity also runs engagement events and corporate workshops to facilitate the continued development of the understanding of mens mental health and wellbeing.

To lessen their isolation and provide social opportunities, helping them to build friendships, through the provision of facilities in which they can meet to undertake a range of creative, physical or recreational activities, learn or pass on skills and knowledge.

Male Voice choir promoting public education in music by presentation of choral concerts, participation in music festivals etc. Assists members by furthering their knowledge of music, especially male chorus music. Provides practical encouragement to young musicians, both vocal and instrumental. Raises money for good causes through concerts.

To prevent social exclusion by promoting the opportunity for friendships, social engagement and skill sharing in a safe and enjoyable environment, in which members and anyone over the age of 18 can meet and carry out creative projects acceptable to the Shed and of their own choosing, individually and for the benefit of the wider community. Performing concerts to raise money for charity

To combat loneliness & social isolation that may arise as a result of age or disability, by the provision of a workshop where men can meet and engage in woodworking activities together.

Mens Walk & Talk Group for men to improve their physical and mental health

To provide a non-sectarian and non-political place of recreation and social activity for the advantage and benefit of the male and female inhabitants of Peterchurch and the surrounding district.

To promote and develop the art of choral music in all its aspects, to help and assist various charitable bodies by presenting choral concerts in order to raise funds for them.

The entertainment of the public through organised choral concert performances focussing on widening the appreciation of choral music and on fund raising for other charities and good causes. Operates primarily, but not exclusively, in Somerset, North Somerset and the adjacent counties including South Wales.

Torfaen Male Choir performs at concerts the length and breadth of Britain and abroad in order to meet its primary object.
