The charity provides accommodation for the elderly in ten bungalows or flats. It also provides grants to organisations and individuals. These may be in respect of the Religious Society of Friends, or any charitable objects connected with the town of Ashford in Kent, or to meet expenses of education or or for the relief of poverty.

To advance education, relieve poverty, distress and sickness, to advance the Hindu Cultural and social activities for all age groups in Cardiff for Hindu Communities and open to others. We advance social activities and cultural activities for elderly people and their carers. Demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to equal opportunities concerning access, language, cultural, gender.

We operate for the residents of the Radford and surrounding areas providing activities including Education and Training. Many clubs for the Elderly with Disabilities and Special Needs. We provide advice and information to the public, A Luncheon Club for the benefit of the Elderly, Social Activities such as Dance Clubs, Bingo, Kickboxing etc.Our Building is open from 8.30-10.00 Monday to Friday

The promotion of high quality chamber music concerts performed by professional artists and available to all members of the public. Some concerts have an educational start or are designed for the elderly or people with learning disabilities.

Hazlemere Community Association accomodates around 1,000 users per week.Activities within our Community Centre include:-Keep Fit/Aerobic groups, Yoga, Mother & Toddler Groups, Baby groups, Amateur Dramatics, various sport related activities, dancing for adults and children, a "Pop In" centre for the elderly, Blind and partially sighted group.

The provision of transport facilities for the elderly, disabled, poor, mothers with young children or people living in isolated areas where there are no adequate public transport facilities.

We organise cultural and religious events, with occasional talks on Hindu philosophy for the Asian community, especially elderly folks who mostly live a very deprived and isolated life. Provision of a Community Car Service (CCS) for the benefit of elderly and disadvantaged individuals in the Borough of Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas. Services include transport to and from medical & dental appointments, day centres, schools, activity centres and social inclusion projects.

Provision of housing for persons in need in the following order of priority. 1) Residents in the Parish of Haydon over 60 years. 2) Persons resident in Haydon Parish. 3) Persons resident in Northumberland over 60 years. 4) Exceptionally, Persons resident outside of Northumberland over 60 years.

Promote community events. Provide facilities for other registered charities. Encourage young people in participation of the community events. Provide social events for elderly.Dancing school for young people, old time dancing, snooker, pool, darts, bingo, quiz for all ages, disabled access and facilities.

Celebrate all Hindu festivals, Run classes promoting Hindu culture and arts e.g Classical dance, Bollywood dancing, rangoli competitions. The charity was established in 1869 to manage the Hibbert Almshouses, established in 1858 by Sarah and Mary Ann Hibbert for the elderly of the ancient parish of Clapham.

We are a Christian church based in Harrogate and meeting Sunday mornings, 10am at 93 High Street, Starbeck, HG2 7LH. Providing community facilities for people of all ages within our local area. This includes provision for children and senior citizens as well as providing a venue for a large range of sporting, recreational, cultural and social activities.

We offer support and advice to Older People and provide the following: A healthy and balance meal for older people 2 days a week Tuesdays and Thursdays. The activities we offer are social, recreational and cultural activities, arts and crafts, games, outings, exercise, short breaks, health checks, forums etc. We also offer telephone support.

Provides place of worship for people of Chinese origin or with Chinese interests. Provides care and support for members and friends of the church and for any others as they have need including children, students, refugees, young families, elderly people. The object of the group is the advancement of education and in particular, the education of older people and those who are retired from full time work, by all means, including associated activities conducive to learning and personal development in Bath and surrounding areas

The committee provides a meeing place where older people can sit, relax and socialise in a warm and safe environment. Hot meals are provided 3 days a week and centre based activities are held such as Bingo, arts and crafts. Days/afternoons out are also arranged as are talks from local interest groups and local agencies.
