The principal activity of the Charity is that of the provision of independent living accommodation for older people

To promote the relief of all adults, without regard to race or creed, who are suffering from any chronic or terminal illness or from any disability or disease attributable to old age or from any other physical or mental infirmity, disability or disease in such ways as the Association shall from time to time think fit.

Grant making programmes for:1. Young People and Education;2. Older People and Housing;3. Church and Communities.

To provide care for elderly persons, within a Christian framework and ethos (as described in these Articles), by the following means:- Providing appropriate accommodation, items, services or facilities calculated to relieve the needs of such persons, and- By the provision of carers and by the provision of regular support and training for such carers.

The Charity provides sheltered flats for older people in Gloucestershire as well as a Residential Home and Nursing Home. The Charity also offers day care services for those living with dementia in the wider community as well as a weekly social club.The Trust also administers a "Relief in Need" grant making branch of the charity and the former Gloucester District Nursing Charity.
