Our mission is to enable older people to lead independent and fulfilling lives. We do this by providing high quality advice & information services, befriending & support services and campaigning work on behalf of older people.

This is a grant-making trust offering financial support to other charities/voluntary organisations. Grants are made for a wide range of charitable purposes, but there is a particular interest in environmental & conservation projects & in supporting the elderly/infirm & their carers & disadvantaged young people. Projects in Norfolk & Malta may be of particular interest.

THE CHARITY PROVIDES A RANGE OF SERVICES TO SUPPORT PEOPLE THROUGH THE PROVISION OF RESIDENTIAL CARE, NURSING, DOMICILIARY CARE AND DAYCARE FOR OLDER PEOPLE AND PEOPLE WITH DEMENTIA AND LEARNING AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES.THE TRUST ALSO PROVIDES TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR STAFF AND CARERS.

To promote the relief of all adults, without regard to race or creed, who are suffering from any chronic or terminal illness or from any disability or disease attributable to old age or from any other physical or mental infirmity, disability or disease in such ways as the Association shall from time to time think fit.

To provide care for elderly persons, within a Christian framework and ethos (as described in these Articles), by the following means:- Providing appropriate accommodation, items, services or facilities calculated to relieve the needs of such persons, and- By the provision of carers and by the provision of regular support and training for such carers.

The Charity provides sheltered flats for older people in Gloucestershire as well as a Residential Home and Nursing Home. The Charity also offers day care services for those living with dementia in the wider community as well as a weekly social club.The Trust also administers a "Relief in Need" grant making branch of the charity and the former Gloucester District Nursing Charity.

Members of the congregation are involved in community and parish based programmes in Great Britain. To provide a retirement home for blind and partially sighted persons and to promote their welfare, but insofar as there is a vacancy in the home which could not be filled by a blind person, such vacancies may be filled by an elderly person who in the opinion of the directors is in need of the accommodation and services provided by the Charity

The Abbeyfield Braintree Bocking and Felsted Society Limited is a charitable company registered social housing provider. The Society operates two very sheltered housing schemes, an extra care scheme and a retirement village, providing accommodation, care and companionship for older people who chose not to live alone.

Provides housing and related support to elderly people through two sheltered housing schemes in Hampshire. Makes grants to organisations providing educational activities for children and young people up to the age of 25 from disadvantaged backgrounds and to promote iron-related educational and heritage activities.

Guideposts services are provided in England, mainly in Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Gloucestershire, and focus on improving the health and wellbeing of people with learning disabilities and autism, mental health challenges, children and young people, older people including those with dementia and their carers.
