The BCG Food Pantry supports our marginalised communities who are suffering hardship and poverty. They can access a range of culturally sensitive foods to support their wellbeing.BCG further provides a day centre elderly and vulnerable adults. Here they can access activities to improve their health and well-being through workshops that promote their personal development and social interaction.

The provision of regular public worship, and sacred space for personal payer and contemplation. Pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, small groups and assemblies in local schools. Promoting the mission of the Church in Wales in aiding community cohesion through provision of activities for older people, children and other specific groups,

To promote, maintain, improve and develop public education and appreciation of the art of vocal music in multiple genres, including (but not limited to) opera, jazz, music theatre, choral, cabaret, folk and To relieve the needs of children and others with special needs or disabilities, and older people with dementia in particular by creating and delivering public musical concerts and workshops.

The community centre runs a pre-school, a lunch club for the elderly, and a coffee bar is open during the day serving meals, drinks and snacks. The centre hires out a function room for the use of local clubs and organisations, and to the local family centre. The centre is a source of general information and advice.

To provide wheelchair accessible transport for the elderly, infirm, people with disabilities and disadvantaged residents of Rhondda Cynon Taf.

THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY AMONGST THOSE LACKING FINANCIAL SUPPORT BY REASON OF YOUTH, ELDERLY AGE, ILL-HEALTH, BEING ORPHANED OR WIDOWED, OR AT ANY OTHER DISADVANTAGE IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, BY THE PROVISION OF GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES.

The Society assists needy elderly persons within the Bristol postcode area (BS, BA AND GL): it provides annuities, visits them regularly and makes Christmas gifts to each. The Society has also invested in the provision of sheltered living and day care accommodation for elderly people.

BHCM IS A CHRISTIAN CITY MISSION WORKING IN LOCAL SCHOOLS (TAKING ASSEMBLIES, OFFERING CURRICULUM SUPPORT, ORGANISING PRAYER SPACES, AND TRAINING MEMBERS OF LOCAL CHURCHES TO WORK IN SCHOOLS); MINISTERING IN RESIDENTIAL HOMES FOR THE ELDERLY (TAKING MONTHLY SERVICES AND ARRANGING 1:1 VISITS); AND OPERATING A FOOD BANK SUPPLYING EMERGENCY FOOD, BEDDING & HOMEWARES TO PEOPLE FACING DOMESTIC CRISES.

Social care agency for elders, Caribbean in particular resident in Hackney. A diverse and welcoming organisation providing social and cultural support. health and welfare information, lunch service, Advocacy and Outreach, assistance for elders with dementia via Mental Wellbeing program and expenditure advice via the Take care of the Pennies service.

TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL NEEDS PRIMARILY FOR PEOPLE OVER 50 AND NOT IN FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT

Activities are-regular public worship open to all-pastoral work, including visiting the sick and the bereaved-teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups-promoting the whole mission of the Church through provision of activities for senior citizens, youth, parents and toddlers and other special need groups-supporting other charities in the UK and overseas.

The charity aims to provide community learning programmes through language and citizenship classes, seminars and functions to advance public education. Current activities include monthly ladies seminars on various topics, distributing hampers to senior citizens and vulnerable people, providing facilities for worship and islamic education.

The provision of an almshouse providing sheltered accomodation for the elderly. There are 11 units in the almshouse.

The objects of the charity are to support other registered charities and priority is given to local charities benefiting Nottinghamshire although appeals are considered from organisations who operate further afield. Particular emphasis is given to charities which help the disabled, the elderly and children with special needs.
