The Day Centre is open for one day per week and is run by volunteers. They arrange transport and a meal is provided and activities and companionship. It is open to frail, housebound, older people.

We look after the running of the Reading Room which is a facility for local groups to use as a meeting room. e.g. Senior citizens' Whist Drive, Pilates classes, Art Club .

The provision of pensions to such poor persons aged 60 years or over who have resided or worked in Bradford for not less than 3 years preceding their appointment as pensioners.

Grants made for the relief of hardship, towards the cost of extra curricular activities for school children and to help with the purchase of course material by further education students. Grants also made to local organizations such as the Brownie pack. Life-line alarm systems rented for the elderly.

The Charity was established under a trust deed dated 28 March 1983. The deed provided a fund to be invested to provide an income that is to be distributed to provide assistance to such pensioners drawing retirement pension and living within the Borough of Gravesham who are in need.

Village hall available for hire within the local community. Used by playgroup, guides, brownies, senior citizens, WI, dance and self defence classes. Available for general hire for activities such as parties. Fund raising events held include fetes, fairs and shows.

Provides opportunities for the over 50's to further their education and other interests and develop new ones.

Provides a rural transport service for residents of Eversley and Bramshill. Supplies a telephone care line service to any resident in need. Gives an annual Christmas gift to all residents over 80 years of age. Give financial assistance to individuals and village organisations.

Provides weekly companionship and activities for elderly residents of Lechlade and associated villages close by. Lunch is provided and occasional trips out. Provision is made for the infirm and disabled. Live entertainment is frequently arranged.

Provide facilities for various activities (learning, creative and exercise) for children, adults, the elderly e.g. nursery school, folk dance, table tennis, garden club, occasional bee keeping classes and social events for the whole community.

Request for grants are considered from residents of Litton Cheney only.1. School leavers going to university, apprenticeships or first full time employment.2. Elderly on limited income towards cost of heating etc.3. Those needing financial help resulting from sudden illness or bereavement etc.4. Other Litton Cheney charities eg. Burham United Charities is a charity formed to provide help for the needy and poor living within the ancient parish boundries, now comprising the village of Burham and part of Blue Bell Hill.We offer financial assistance via grants and an annual Winter Fuel Grant to elderly residents in low income households but can also offer one-off assistance in cases of particular need.

The charity provides a small income for pensioners in need who have lived in Porlock, Somerset for over five years.At this time there are 12 pensioners being assisted by the charity.

We provide a environment where people can participate in social activities including yoga, line & latin dancing, carpet bowls, over 60's physical exercise & over 60's club, parent & toddler group, quiz nights, annual pantomine, ceilidhs, shows, exhibitions & charitable events.
