Communicare in Southampton is a community care group with volunteers, many from local churches, that works on behalf of the whole community in Southampton. It complements the help available to deprived people by visiting and befriending the lonely,elderly and those with mental health issues, shopping for/with clients, carrying out simple DIY tasks, helping with childcare and providing transport.

We hire out our building for social gatherings we also have a lot of social clubs ie bingo, luncheon club, karate easy line gym arts crafts cooking sessions for children and elderly, drama pantomime dance slimming world and CAB employability courses

Provides community transport for the elderly, disabled and rurally isolated in Beverley, Pocklington, Market Weighton and the surrounding villages.

Ryedale Carers Support provides practical and emotional support for carers, the people they care for and older people living on their own. The service is provided by volunteers. The main function of the charity is to provide support for Christian Worship by it's members and to serve the community as an outward expression of that worship. The act of serving the community is very broad including english lessons, toddler play groups, elderly shared meal times and youth groups.

Al Mohsineen charitable trust was established in 2014 with the purpose to help alleviate poverty and suffering,provide relief and aid to victims of disasters, to promote educational activities, to facilitate access forhealthcare and water and to raise awareness of care for elderly and disabled.

Springs Church Gornal provides Christian teaching, guidance and support to advance the religion of Jesus Christ. Primarily through the provision and facilitation of weekly gatherings the church interacts with the community from the children through to the elderly. It also offers support for those most in need in the local community, such as the support for local food banks.

The Cardigan Centre's public building is used for community activities, educational courses and constructive leisure and welfare programmes, and has offices leased to local enterprises. Specialist work includes services for young people, older people, healthy living, handyperson and gardening services, practical help for groups, networks and enterprises, and provision of community information.

The charity provides programmes which meet needs within the community. Facilities available include UK online centre providing IT education, parenting groups, support group for those caring for people with special needs, youth groups, coffee and cafe bars, play groups, exercise group for elderly. Adult literacy and numeracy classes,working with homeless. Also many short-term activities.

Our activities are Religious, we also help the needy for poverty alleviation. We visit the aged and also organise youth programmes for the youth in the Reading community.

MAKES GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANISATIONS FOR ELDERLY AND YOUNG PEOPLE AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC/ MANKIND

The chairty activites at present are as follows - (1) provide and maintain a school for general Islamic educaution of children; (2) facilities for eduaction of adults; (3) facilities and services for congregational prayers for men, women and children and; (3) developing social and welfare service for the elderly.
