We are committed to empowering vulnerable and marginalised individuals in Sri Lanka. We provide vital support through various initiatives, including: educational empowerment, youth development, women's empowerment, elderly care, and community support. By addressing the root causes of poverty and inequality, we work towards a more just and equitable future for Sri Lanka.

From our own premises we provide a meeting place for the benefit of the people of Hockley and Hawkwell aged 55 or over. Freshly cooked lunches, light refreshments and afternoon entertainment are available, 4 days a week, Monday to Thursdays. We have our own modified ambulance to collect and return the disabled and elderly to their homes.

The PCC's object is the promotion in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church, primarily focused on the advancement of religion. This includes provision of regular public worship, free and open to all, teaching and taking assemblies, providing services of care and support to the local community, including elderly, children and other groups facing disadvantage.

To help the young and elderly

A community led centre to provide services and activities to the people of Ystradowen and surrounding communities. Providing transport facilities for community groups and organisations. Our main target audience is the elderly, vulnerable and disabled members who are also chronically ill . Our services fill the gap in provision by supporting the health and well being of each individual.

Care for the local community, services in care homes for the elderly. Food hampers for the needy/lonely. Children's holiday clubs and festive parties. Regular weekly services for all ages including a monthly youth social event, ladies group and mens group.

Alms House Accommodation scheme for elderly people, thirteen flats, 24 hour care line cover provided by local authority.The medieval buildings have a voluntary museum . The original chapel still offers residents and visitors Holy Communion monthly ( Normally the first Wednesday of each month at 10.00 AM). The two remunerated persons are the Clerk to the Trustees and Custodian/Caretaker

Promote cultural activities to younger generation and providing medical advise to elderly citizens those who have language issues.

Access Dorset is a member led organisation of disabled people, older people, carers and other users of support. In partnership with twenty local organisations we provide a Center for Independent Living providing information, advice, peer support and advocacy. We are currently bringing our website alive with a project that introduces peer support videos and citizen journalism online.

To advance the Christian religion by preaching and teaching Christianity; spreading the Gospel of Christ; teaching Christianity to children, reaching out to the poor and elderly of the community; counselling and providing assistance for those in need of counselling. The letting and upkeep of almshouses to elderly people of good character who have resided in the surrounding area for not less than two years preceding the time of application.

To assist charitable projects supporting established Charities, with particular focus on Charities who support and focus on cancer medical research and projects, reliving sickness and health in old age, promoting conservation of the environment, financial hardship amongst elderly people, reliving suffering of animals and promoting the prevention of poverty.

The Trust is an almshouse and grant-making charity operating only in the Parish of Harefield. It provides alms accommodation for qualifying elderly women and families and also playing fields. At Christmas cash grants are made in lieu of traditional coal allocations to qualifying elderly. Grants are also made from time to time to individuals or groups with an established need.

BEHT raises funds through fund raising events in UK and through individual donors and well-wishers. The funds raised are used in India towards education and health, to provide relief to the poor, handicapped, disabled, sick and the aged and also provide relief for victims of disasters. Grants are mainly given to organisations in India who already have a strong link with BEHT.

Camberley U3A is a self-help, self-managed lifelong learning co-operative for older people no longer in full-time work, providing opportunities for other members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning not for qualifications, but for fun.

To Promote the doctrines and beliefs of the Indian Orthodox religion and propagate Christianity To maintain place of regular common worship and prayer at St George's IOC, St Margarets Patten, Rood Lane, Eastcheap, London EC3M 1HS3 every Sunday.To provide for religious, educational and cultural activities for women, young children, Youth and senior citizens.

As a charitable business, the Directors are devoted to opening a care home for older people, run with a Christian ethos. Meanwhile the charity runs three clubs for older people in the Nottingham area who are experiencing isolation and loneliness to enable them to make new friends and re-engage with the community.
