TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS AT THE SCHOOL AND THE WELFARE OF THE CHILDREN ATTENDING THE SCHOOL, AND AS AN ANCILLIARY THERETO, AND IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS THE ASSOCIATION WILL A) FOSTER RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF AND THE PARENTS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL; B) ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND WELFARE OF THE CHILDREN ATTENDING IT.

The object of the PTFA is to advance the education of the children in the school, by developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others association with the school; and engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of its pupils

Braidwood School raises money in order to enhance and extend learning beyond the classroom, ie. residential visits and day courses. In addition we provide BSL classes for professionals working with the Deaf and to families and carers of Deaf children. Transport, food and residential costs are provided by the school for those children whose families are in necessitous circumstances.

We hold fundraising/social events to benefit the pupils and the school. All monies raised are used to enhance the childrens learning environment.

Raising funds for Sedlescombe C of E School.

Providing a social club for disabled adults and children giving respite for parents and carers.Club nights are every 1st3rd & 5th Tuesday each month we provide arts and crafts,quizes,cooking,games etc.

Fundraising to provide Mini bus's and special needs equipment for the benefit of Eastham Adult Training Centre.

Daily,Mon and Tues- 9.30am-11.30am- drop-in play and craft sessions for babies to pre-school age children accompanied by their parents/carers.Held in Meersbrook Park Pavilion, Meersbrook Park Road, S8. Indoor and outdoor areas. Snacks & drinks served for children, hot drinks available for adults.

RUNNING TODDLER GROUP FOR CHILDREN FROM 12 MONTHS TO FIVE AND THEIR PARENTS/CARERS

The Charity carries out fundraising activities for Tilney All Saints VC Primary School, including school fairs, discos and social events. Practical assistance is provided to the school at the request of the headteacher and staff. The charity also provides a social framework within which parents, staff and Friends of the school may meet.

FUND-RAISING AND SUPPORT FOR THE SCHOOL EVENTS AND ENHANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AT THE SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER ASSOCIATION

Raising funds for PTFA / school - dinner dances, quizes, refreshments, etc

The Charity plans and runs social, fundraising events for the families and friends of children at St Vincent's Catholic Primary School in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire. Funds raised by the Charity are used by the School to provide educational opportunities and resources for the pupils of the School that cannot be funded by the other grants made to the School.

We aim to raise funds for school activities, equipment and facilities not provided for by the Local Education Authority. Projects to date include equipment for soft play area, safer surfacing for playgrounds, a new minibus, outdoor trampoline, sensory lights for hydro pool & artificial grass for learning outside the classroom. We sincerely thank all our donors for their generosity.

To raise funds for Henley Primary School - purchased outdoor play area, libary furniture etc.Fund raising activities include - pupil discos, summer fair, parent BBQ.

We raise funds to provide books, classroom equipment, trips and outside activities for the children of Dymchurch Primary School.

To raise money to enrich the school childrens education

Toy lending library for parents/carers of children aged birth to 5 in Cottenham and the surrounding villages; and organisers of other regular activities such as the Teddy Bears' Picnic, Christmas party, and bi-annual family fun weekend as part of FEFF etc. Cottenham Toy Library runs regular soft play mornings for pre-school children.

The charity signposts parents of children with dyslexia and adults with dyslexia to tutors and assessments. We have a helpline, website and facebook page and will respond to queries from any age group. The charity gives out financial bursaries for assessments and tutoring to parents on low income, if there are sufficient funds in the charity.

The charity provides a weekly playgroup for 0-4 year olds at Damerham Village Hall from 9.30-11.30am on Tuesdays during term-time. We have dedicated baby, toddler, pre-schooler and soft play areas. A typical session includes a themed craft, indoor and outdoor play, healthy snacks and refreshments for parents/carers.
