FUNDRAISING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUPILS OF TATWORTH PRIMARY SCHOOL, TATWORTH, SOMERSET.

We are a small committee made up of parent volunteers whose aim is to fundraise for the schools Special Needs children and put back every penny of that money into purchasing specialist equipment for our children. This may be anything from sensory resources, furniture, specialist outdoor equipment, send pupils on a residential holiday, or saving to purchase a new minibus.

To provide convalescence in England and Wales for the benefit of members and former members of the UDM their spouses children parents and dependants. Provision in the interests of social welfare for members of the primary class having need of such facilities by reason of youth age infirmity or disablement and members of the public having similar need. Furtherance of charitable objects generally.

Fundraising for the benefit of pupils at Charlesworth School

Provides opportunity, weekly for parents/carers and their children to meet. We provide play, craft and musical activities.

We raise funds for our school by organising events and acitivites for both children and parents. Our main fund raisers are our school's sponsored walk held in May, our summer fair which is held in July and Christmas Fair held in November. We also run a disco for the children and have quizzes and other events which vary throughout the year.

We hold social evenings for the children. Also seasonal Bingo, coffee afternoons, Christmas and summer fairs, bun sales and fancy dress competitions.

We organise various activities and events with the purpose of raising funds to provide facilities and equipment, or to sponsor activities or events, that we feel will directly or indirectly enrich our children's school lives.We also have a role to play in bringing pupils, parents, carers and staff together as part of a wider school community and in engaging with the local community.

We raise funds for staff/student 'extras' at the school, support home/school communication and contribute to the Sewell Park community.At present we focus on working with the Papillon Project to encourage students with gardening, and redeveloping links between the school and the Sewell Barn Theatre.
