Sign Hi Say Hi! is a local charity which supports local deaf children and their families. There are only a small number of deaf children born each year many of whom will be born to hearing parents with little or no experience of deafness or knowledge of how to communicate with a deaf person. The charity was established more than 20 years ago by a group of local parents to provide support.

Scarborough United Scholarships Foundation: The purpose of the foundation is to provide financial assistance to promote the education of persons under the age of 25.John Kendall Trust: The Trust can assist children under the age of 18 years who is in need and cannot be helped by a parent or guardian. Grants can be given to any home, society or institution which provides similar assistance.

The PTA organises and runs a variety of social and fundraising events for the school community.

The objectives of the Northlands Wood PTFA are to advance pupil's education at Northlands Wood Primary Academy. This is through raising funds for school, developing relationships between staff, parents and other associations, and to engage in activities and provide equipment or facilities which support the school.

The Association carries out a variety of fundraising activities at the school. These include; school discos, Summer and Christmas fairs, cake sales.The Association also supports school activities such as sports days, school plays, football tournaments and carries out fund raising initiatives such as children designing Christmas cards.
