The giving of grants to beneficiaries to relieve sickness, disability, infirmity and financial needs of those persons who have been engaged in any branch of the watch and clock trades and their widows or widowers

1. The development and enhancement of skills for UK Secondary School children through The Wings of Hope Achievement Awards Programme.2. The advancement of Education for underprivileged and orphaned children in schools and orphan support centres in India and Malawi.3. Funding towards one off projects in India.

Watan UK supports relief and development programmes in response to the crisis in Syria. We implement Emergency Relief programmes including medical assistance and food parcels; a WASH programme providing clean water across the country; Children and Orphan programme where we support orphans and provide education; as well as rebuilding lives through Livelihood and Rehabilitation Programmes.

We provide grant to schools to buy school equipment, books, chairs, tables, computers, science lab equipment etc, school meals for children. We provide medical help to poor, sick people and those who cannot afford treatment. We also help widows and their children. We concentrate more on education which has reflected at their results (100% pass rate).

For the public benefit, working but not exclusively with orphans, young people, Black Asian Minority Ethnic communities, and marginalised communities in the UK, and in Kenya, in ways that strengthen both, culturally, socio-economically and through education by:

Sawera Foundation provides basic needs of life, Clean drinking water, Homes, Education , Medical Aid, Family support, Monthly sponsorship to Widows & Orphans & those without it in local community of Tajak, Attock Pakistan. Also providing Ambulance services, Environmental projects, Seasonal projects (Ramadan ,Eid support). furthermore provides emergency Aid in any disaster (Floods, Earthquake etc)

In partnership with Gumboots SA we fund 5 projects in South Africa, 4 in Alexandra Township, Johannesburg:1) Sigya Sonke - youth dance group 2) Leratong - pre-school for children 3) Ratang Bana - supporting children orphaned by AIDS4) The Caitlin Fund - supports disadvantaged young women with their education5) Phetoho- supporting individual children with school fees, uniforms.

Mercy missions to the poor and orphans in Europe and needy communities around the United Kingdom. FOMOE assists orphans in Malawi ? especially MOET primary school near Mangochi and finds sponsors for secondary school children. Class sizes are 30 or less and a meal is provided daily. Emphasis is on self reliance with computer studies, cooking, carpentry, tinsmith, tailoring and organic and medicinal gardening. MOET works with local communities on sustainable gardening and tree planting.

The activities of the Trust are a) to relieve people in need because of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage and b) the advancement of education - particularly by providing grant funding to support projects in rural areas of Zimbabwe, with a particular focus on children and young people.

The charity operates eleven almshouses for men aged 55 or over, bachelors or widowers with well-being support, in the centre of Louth.

The Norfolk Constabulary Benevolent Fund was established to assist in needy cases of members, former members, their widows, orphans or dependants. It does this by paying grants and interest free loans where necessary and by the provision of holiday homes for rest and recuperation and for respite or convalescence.

The Trust supports Christian ministry in the UK and Africa and mainly the work of New Growth Ministries (Zimbabwe). The work particularly supports orphans through the work led for many years by Mr Rob Mackenzie MBE. and Mrs. Hilary Mackenzie MBE.

Give donations to various Village organisations. Give donations to Students to help with their education. Give a Xmas Gift to widow/widowers within the Parish. There are some allotments which we let to tenants and we own a house which we rent out.

The charity is involved in the provision of funds to provide food and education for orphans in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

PROJECTS ARE UNDERTAKEN IN AFRICA TO PROMOTE EDUCATION TO ORPHANS,HIV/ AIDS VICTIM AND WIDOWS. FARMING PROJECTS ARE FUNDED, GENERAL SUPPORT GIVEN IN ORDER TO ALLEVIATE POVERTY LOCALLY AND OVERSEAS.
