Beneficiary group Charities That specialise in Women

The Charity has had a very active 2018 with addition of two major fund raising events. As well as our very well supported quiz nights and Christmas Party we took up the challenge of a ladies team walking non-stop, 100k, around the Isle of Wight. We also had a men's team each with a £500 car who drove from Kent to Monaco and back. Together the teams raised in excess of £26,000.

THE HALL IS LET TO LOCAL GROUPS FOR THEIR ACTIVITIES. SCOUTS, JUDO CLUB. LUNCHEON CLUB, AUTUMN CLUB, GENERAL FUND RAISING, ZUMBA, PILATES, FOLK DANCING, CREATIVE DANCE, WOMENS' INSTITUTE, ANTIQUES FAIRS, POLLING STATION AND OTHER PARTY AND SOCIAL FUNCTIONS

Purpose of our Charity is organising Obligatory prayers, Religious Sermons, Community and Religious Events, Funeral Prayers and Activities for Children. The Charity holds the named events at Stafford House which is also a great place for social gathering appealing to all ages with Women only event held too. Ramadan Iftaar (dinner) is a great way of sharing and eating together as a Community.

We run small events such as Summer Fair, Firework Display, Circus, Pantomine, Ladies Pamper Evening, Fashion Show and model air display to raise money in order to support the school.

Iedara Taleem-un-Nisa has established a school for the primary and secondary education of underprivileged girls in Lahore since 2001. The school follows a curriculum approved by the Punjab Board of Education. Three hundred and fifty girls are getting their education in this school. The charity also organises educational events for the local women.

- Education: ESOL and sewing classes for women- Help with housing difficulties.- Elders social club: meets one day a week.- Out-reach services: informal drop-in.- Health Issues: Women's health workshops, etc.- Youth project: a space for young people to address issues that concern them.

Proving life enhancing necessities for needy people, especially Orphans and Widows

Relief of poor and distressed brother masons or their poor and distressed widows and children or for the benefit of Masonic Charities or other charitable Institutions, Societies or objects.

The charity fulfils its purposes through giving concerts, making recordings and running workshops. Where possible , amateur choirs are invited to be involved in performances. The charity also engages in primary trading through its website, selling scores and CDs. The website is also used to distribute free scores and advice to choirs wishing to develop experience in singing female-voice polyphony.

We continue in Community outreach and Prison Fellowship, Swort Fellowship Single, Widows and Divorce, Training for Drama Group and Vine Youth (Voice Training), Spectagular Act School for Unchurch, Community Counselling, assist the elderly, Homelless and Salvation Army with food.

CISters is a survivor led specialist service for females aged 18 or over who, as female children, were sexually abused/exploited by a member of their immediate and/or extended family. We offer female survivors the opportunity to meet other women in a group context and within an empowerment model. Meetings vary in type/focus and include an Annual Residential Weekend Workshop. We meet in Hampshire.

General charitable purposes. Arts/culture. Sport/recreation.Community Building & Playing Field for the benefit of the community. Activities include Toddler Group, Table Tennis, Archaeology Group, Womens Group, Horticultural Society, various adult Classes (Art Class & Daisy Foundation etc.) and usage by the local Community, School and Church

Fundraising to buy items for the school children.

The Fund provides scholarships to assist women in advancing their education.

Provide a 27 week (one evening a week) community domestic abuse programme (CDAP) for self referring men who reside in the Kent County. For those men who start the CDAP we provide a woman support worker who maintains contact with the partner or recent ex-partner of the man on the CDAP. We have three groups located in Folkestone, Tonbridge and Medway.

The CIO supports the four members of the School Sisters of Notre Dame who live and minister in England. Two of these are located in Merseyside and two and London.

Alverstoke Womens Institute holds eleven meeting a year with speakers and a range of activities plus educational trips. Fund raising is used to support organisations within our local community. Social activities that benefit many members who would otherwise be isolated in the community.

The charity makes grants to widows, widowers and dependants of members of the clergy who are resident in the Diocese of Salisbury or were last licensed in the Diocese and who are in need, hardship or distress.

Maintain and refurbish Grade II building for use by any organisation or individuals in area. Major users, Guides, Brownies, Ramblers, dance, yoga, exercise groups, Women's Institute, portrait painting, physiotherapy, luncheon and social gatherings; also concerts, drama and private parties. Centre for village Community Events including Well Dressing festival, Open Gardens and Christmas Lights.

Almshouses.

We offer free counselling for those facing an unintended pregnancy. Counselling is also offered to those who are suffering from baby loss following an abortion, miscarriage or stillbirth. All counsellers are fully trained and supervised

The teaching of courses with DVDs on Qur'anic Arabic are benefiting adults male and female in Birmingham but thousands of people internationally on satellite TV. The QAF project on Bayt al-Qur'an, the House of Wisdom and Peace, the first of its kind in the West. It will attract scholars from the world over, who will be benefiting from a large number of Arabic manuscripts in Europe.

To give financial aid to young women residing in the Ancient parish of Enfield for educational and charitable purposes.

The principal objective of the charity is to pay all or part of the school fees payable in respect of deserving boys or girls, who are in education at the King's School, Canterbury, and, who but for the help of the charity, would be unable to be or remain at the school.
