HWA supports women, children & young people that are suffering or have suffered domestic abuse to establish safe independent lives. Core work is delivered in a secure refuge for women & children. Support is also delivered on outreach basis to women, children & young people. HWA delivers training and awareness raising programmes and also works in partnership with statutory and voluntary bodies.

Working with disadvantaged and vulnerable women, girls and families including those: experiencing domestic violence & abuse; with children in care; seeking asylum or refugees; with learning disabilities; with complex needs or mental health and wellbeing needs; who are pregnant or parents. We specialise in group work, peer support, and providing one-to-one support taking a trauma-informed approach.

We are a unique networking hub where women share ideas & advice in order to create change. We broker access to people who can make a difference & our members use their profile to bring attention to important issues, ampliyfing the voices of vulnerable women. We work with respected partners in supporting various projects financially & with expert advice from women leaders in their field.

Raising awareness of the injustices experienced by asylum-seeking and refugee women in the UK through media work and public events, through informing policy makers in partnership with other organisations, and through empowering asylum-seeking and refugee women to take platforms to speak directly about their experiences.This charity merged with & succeeds WfRW charitable trust, reg. no. 1121174

Provide safe temporary accommodation for women and children fleeing domestic abuse. Provide an Outreach Service whose objectives are to give advice and support to victims/survivors of domestic abuse

We provide a place of safety for women and children fleeing domestic abuse. We will provide information, support and guidance to resident and non-resident families. We empower women to enable them to begin a new life with their children in a non-violent environment. We are a trauma informed service that uses Cognitive Analytical Therapy to aid in the recovery of women and children affected by DA.

Anukampa is a religious and educational charity, advancing Buddhism within the Theravada tradition. Anukampa will establish a monastery where the public can benefit from the support of monastic teachers, and be a training facility for women who wish to undertake training towards full ordination. Get Set Girls is a youth group targeting Hackney disadvantaged BME girls aged 15 to 19 offering: courses for qualifications. Personal Development Workshops, Health programme, community volunteering. Heritage research project, Drama production, Career guidance, linking with employers, resulting in a 95% annual success rate of service users entering employment, and productive youth.
