Provision of homes for widows of dalesmen and farmers living in Waddington and the surrounding parishes

Partners with community-based organisations in Zambia that support orphans and other vulnerable children in reaching their full potential, with a strong focus on education. All projects are carefully selected and monitored by sister organisation, Zambia Orphans Aid Zambia. Maintains minimal overhead costs and places a strong emphasis on sustainable projects.

We are hosting a range of projects and programmes in its impressively large building including children education projects , Healthy Lifestyles Project for the elderly, support for people suffering from mental health problems, and a core Women's Group. There is very low-cost gym usage for the public.

The organisation is set up as a voluntary movement for girls and women and its purpose is to enable girls and young women to develop their potential and to make a difference in the world. This is achieved within a mutually supportive structure of fun, friendship and personal challenge underpinned by spiritual and moral values.

We currently have 41 teams including a senior team, the wildcats girls teams and a walking football team. Our child football development goes from strength to strength with children starting from 5 years old, embarking on a career with the club that can take them through to adulthood. We facilitate free holiday clubs for children on FSM and hire our premises to ethnic minority groups to train.

The aim of the charity is the support of such charitable purposes which advance the religious and other charitable work carried on in the local community at Hook and in England and Wales generally and also overseas by the congregation via the Mother House in Malta . This work included the maintenance of a residential home for the elderly in Hook until August 2021.

During the year the charity has continued to hold fellowship meetings every Sunday with congregations increasing week on week. The charity has also provided in-depth training for men, women and children in areas such as family support, life skills, social restoration, motivation and Christian principles.

The Towers Convent School exists to provide education for children through its Senior, Junior and Nursery departments, many of whom would not be able to attend more expensive independent schools. The school employs 65 full and part time staff. The School aims to be an active part of the wider community.-There were 264 pupils including 26 part-time nursery pupils.

THE RELIEF OF WOMEN IN NEED, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THOSE IN NEED AS A RESULT OF EXPERIENCING DOMESTIC ABUSE, BY THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL HOUSING. SOCIAL HOUSING MEANS LOW COST RENTAL ACCOMMODATION AND LOW COST HOME OWNERSHIP ACCOMMODATION AS DEFINED IN SECTION 68 AND SOCIAL HOUSING AS DEFINED IN SECTION 77 OF THE HOUSING AND REGENERATION ACT 2008.

Support towards the educational welfare of and the provision of educational amenities for students at Dr Challoner's High School

There are a wide variety of activities which take place with in the charity depending upon the skills and abilities of the Sisters. They include visiting the sick at home or in hospital, supporting families who need help with various situations in life. They also offer pastoral education to both children and adults and spend a lot of time caring for and helping the homeless.

The mission of Bexley Women's Aid is to enable and empower women and children experiencing domestic violence to obtain and sustain a safe living environment.Services provided include helpline, refuge, floating support, community outreach for women and children and education programs.

Counselling. Training/talks/information and guidance about the effects and treatment of survivors for other professionals. Advocacy support and information for survivors going through the Criminal Justice System. Outreach to women who may be involved in sex work, be homeless, be ex offenders or may have experienced FGM.

Beauty Banks is a charity focused on supporting adults, children and babies living in hygiene poverty in the UK. We supply brand new essential toiletries to charities and other organisations around the country, including food banks, homeless shelters, family support centres, women's refuges, mental health trusts, care leavers' support centres and schools.

The objectives of the charity are the advancement of the Orthodox Jewish religion and education, particularly by maintaining the Yesodey Hatorah Primary Girls School, an Independent School serving the Stamford Hill Jewish community of North London.

We create sustainable projects to relieve poverty for children living in very rural communities in Tanzania, Africa. Projects include education, clean water and sanitation. We partner with NGOs and communities on the ground in Tanzania to ensure our projects are suitable for those in need. Examples of our projects include school infrastructure, clean water, toilets and girl empowerment.

Runs 34 boys football teams ranging from the ages of 7 to 18, 7 girls teams ranging from the ages of 8 to 17 and a senior walking football team.

Restored is a Christian charity working to speak up about violence against women and girls, to equip the church to stand against domestic abuse and to support survivors. We host an online community of more than 650 women who have been subjected to domestic abuse and are developing the Restored Beacon Network of churches to provide support for survivors in their community.

The charity helps women suffering from domestic abuse, homelessness and hardship who are socially and economically disadvantaged. Our services include providing emergency temporary night shelters and refuges, safe accommodations coupled with advice and support to victims at risk of such abuse. We also provide awareness of violence against women and girls (VAWG) and prevention of homelessness.

Provides financial assistance to necessitous doctors and their families.

Project MAMA is a peer support service launched in March 2018, offering antenatal, birth and postnatal support to women who are asylum seekers, refugees, and those with irregular immigration status. We believe that every woman has the right to give birth safely, make her own empowered, evidence based choices and receive the support she needs for a positive birth and early parenting experience.
